As a School Social Worker, you are primarily responsible for helping students in Grades K- 12 succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, through individual and group counseling and by collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home and school.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
Providing individual and group counseling sessions to address interpersonal or family issues that interfere with school performance, including crisis intervention consultation and/or family therapy as needed.
Maintaining all required paperwork including but not limited to communication logs and meticulous notes regarding all services provided to students.
Conducting interviews with students, family members, and school personnel to gather information required to assess student social, emotional and behavioral adjustment to school and the community.

Developing and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) as needed in adherence to the company, school, state and federal regulations and procedure.

Actively participating in other team meetings when necessary to address specific student and parent concerns.

Collaborating and consulting with teachers, parents/guardians, district personnel, and service providers to find effective solutions to learning and behavior problems; always establishing and maintaining effective public relations and projecting a positive company image.
Ensuring the use of positive social skill teaching methods by conducting monthly direct observation of classroom staff's implementation of IEP goals and/or Behavior Intervention Plans/ Treatment Plans.
Providing guidance, consultation, and assistance to teachers in the development of classroom schedules, maintenance of student data systems and facilitation of student transition plans to assure appropriate schedules and services based on each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or other applicable goals.
Assessing student progress through consistent review of classroom data collection and recording systems and providing applicable training and guidance to classroom staff accordingly in addressing student behavioral needs.
Conducting crisis assessments and contacting the appropriate authorities if needed to ensure that emergency intervention is provided to students.
Keeping up to date with research-based practices and developments in subject area.
Responding constructively to formal and informal feedback.
Performing other duties as assigned.
‖ Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in social work, educational counseling, therapy or a closely related field of study.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an IL professional educator license (PEL) school support personnel endorsement.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) credential.
Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training.
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with severe learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral disorders.
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's).

Youth Advisor- Violence Reduction Program (VRP)

Job Responsibilities:
This position provides professional 1:1 and group mentoring to youth in school, community and afterschool settings. Assists youth in developing strategies to positively connect with school and their community. Communicates directly with parents/guardians, school staff and other youth to surround the student/mentee with positive options to violence.
The position works closely with the Site Supervisor and Program Director on requirements related to MPS VRP as detailed in the Statement of Work, including data management and reporting, personnel, relationships with MPS leadership and the Safety Director, required goals and performance metrics. The School Based mentor works closely with a student caseload of approximately 20-25 students at their assigned MPS School and ensures that they are on-call and available for youth 7 days a week.
Essential Functions:
Working with the Site Supervisor and VRP Co- Program Director to complete all training requirements within required timelines of WCS and MPS utilizing the LMS (MI, TIC, Ethics and Boundaries, Mentoring, Cultural Humility, etc.).
Ensure positive youth and parent engagement.
Engage youth in educational and positive youth development programming.
Facilitate mediations.
Build and maintain relationships with school personnel (administration, school safety, social workers, guidance counselors, teachers, etc.) and community partners.
Report all program concerns including personnel matters to the Co-Program Director.
Work with Site Supervisor-Program Directors to coordinate summer activities for VFZ participants.
Provide general recreation support throughout the school year, and follows the MPS school calendar, and required schedule at the MPS school to serve youth.
Professionally engage in all agency, school, and community meetings.
Attend agency events and functions, including Town Halls.
Ensure compliance with the agency (AWARDS) and MPS data systems.
Provide safe, reliable transportation for youth, according to Wisconsin traffic laws and WCS policies and procedures
Engage in regular team meetings with the Supervisor and Co-Program Director.
Ensure all data is timely, entered, and accurate for tracking and reporting on the program goals, benchmarks, and annual MPS Performance Metrics to ensure renewal of the contract each year for the life of the contract.
Working with the Site Supervisor and Co-Directors of MPS VRP to uphold and promote a positive and supportive culture for youth served and program staff and leaders.
Maintain confidentiality for youth served within all written and verbal communications.
Review, sign and adhere to WCS Policies and Procedures in Power DMS.

Arranges necessary health-care services for patients requiring Physical Therapy services. * Engage in account workout risk mitigation analysis, advise on mitigation strategies, and assist in execution of such strategies.
* Monitor account bankruptcy proceedings and document post-bankruptcy indemnity. Draft and file proofs of claim and advise as to potential recovery. Retain outside counsel where appropriate to protect or enforce surety rights.
* Negotiate the resolution of bonded obligations on defaulted contracts, and terms of agreements including indemnity agreements, letters of credit, set aside letters from lenders, intercreditor agreements and subordination agreements.
* Determine whether bond exposure has expired, including for the purpose of releasing collateral, by reviewing bond terms, applicable law, and court dockets (when applicable).
* Monitor marketplace conditions, conduct research, and draft reference materials to inform claim and underwriting colleagues on law impacting Travelers' underwriting and claim decisions.
* Review documents pertaining to mergers, equity sales and asset sales to determine the legal status and ownership of indemnitors undergoing a change of control. Draft and negotiate appropriate agreements to document indemnity changes related to such transactions.
* Support underwriting marketing efforts, including participation in broker and account visits and risk mitigation seminars and authoring customer-focused white papers and articles.
