Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota. The license must not have been revoked, suspended, and without limitations or restrictions.
Graduate of AOTA approved school of occupational therapy and currently certified by the AOTA to practice occupational therapy.
Have at least two (2) years experience in a health care setting or equivalent experience. Home care experience preferred.
Certification with National Board of Occupational Therapy strongly recommended.

The individual will collaborate with 20+ in-house sport psychology professionals at PSP, and design/deliver workshops, presentations and group sessions for teams, coaches, and staff both locally and around the country. This individual will be a point person for mental performance teamwork services for a select number of teams at the university (e.g. 2-3 teams) and expected to work closely as a member of a multidisciplinary medical team comprised of team physicians, orthopedic surgeons, PTs, psychiatrists, certified athletic trainers and sport dietitians. The individual will provide team consultation as needed and facilitate outreach about psychological skills that enhance well-being and performance. The individual will build and nurture strong relationships with clients and referral sources at PSP and in the university environment, as well as maintain timely clinical records of therapeutic and other client contact and adhere to both Minnesota and federal laws.
Premier Sport Psychology is currently seeking qualified candidates with demonstrated experience and expertise serving youth and young adult athletes, as well as collegiate student-athletes, who come from a wide range of different backgrounds. This position requires frequent evening hours and occasional weekend duties, in order to best meet the needs of youth athletes ages 8 17yo and the requests of collegiate athletic departments. Sport psychology staff also frequently attend home competitions and other outreach events on evenings and weekends.
Competencies:

Fellowship Recovery is an outpatient treatment program located in Uptown Minneapolis. We offer smaller group sizes limited to 12 clients and believe in creating a work environment that promotes growth and the support needed in order for our counselors to prevent burnout! We are a small growing company with an Entrepreneurial spirit!All Fellowship Recovery programs offer co-occurring (substance use disorder and mental health) services. Our St. Louis Park location serves parents with children. Our Minneapolis location serves single adults, justice-involved individuals, and individuals with medical cannabis prescriptions. These positions are for the Minneapolis location. Fellowship Recovery expects all charting to be completed on-site on the day of service so clinicians can maintain a boundary between work and home life.
This Role:
The Float Counselor is a professional who delivers stellar group services to Fellowship Recovery clients. The individual in this role will balance counseling (limited to 12 clients) and psychoeducational (12-48 clients) groups and demonstrate excellent time management skills, organization, punctuality, and professionalism. This role will lead group sessions on a wide array of topics. The group facilitator will use their expertise in developing and delivering group content while meeting Fellowship Recovery's needs under 245G and the 1115 Waiver. This role will adhere to MN 245G and 148F statutes.
Job Type: FT Status, 20 - 32 hours/week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Pay: From $60,000 - $65,000 annually

Primary Duties:
Lead Outpatient Treatment groups. Morning group hours are 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM onsite. Evening Group hours are 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM M-F onsite. Fellowship Recovery allows clients to attend groups rarely via telehealth [Zoom] when ill or in other situations where attending in person is a barrier to treatment.
Communicate clients' needs to their primary counselor; maintain clear and thorough group notes to assist primary counselors in monitoring client progress.
Support multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
Ensure compliance with MN Statutes 245G.
Follow company training plans, continuing education, and compliance procedures.
Support multiple primary counselors and their clients in recovery.
Entire shift coverage (individual sessions, treatment coordination, and group coverage) may be available occasionally to cover primary counselor absences for planned time off with the approval of a clinical supervisor and treatment director.
Experience and Requirements:
Associate's degree required. Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
ADC-T - required. LADC preferred
Experience leading groups and working in person.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management and organization skills.

Main Job Duties:

Conduct assessments and treatment plans, plan-of-care reviews, and discharge plans as needed or directed. Train on preparing assessment and treatment plans, if applicable.
Provide various skill-building, teaching, and/or coaching as it relates to the individual.
Assist with completing necessary client intake and admission paperwork and providing program orientation, if applicable.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field and proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR has completed 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral science or a related field and:
Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR
Has 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness; OR
Has 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects; OR
Is fluent in the non-English language of the cultural group to which 50% of the practitioner's clients belong; OR
Has a high school diploma and 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with:
Mental illness; OR Traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness, substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects; OR
Is currently enrolled in a graduate-level behavioral sciences program at an accredited college or university and is formally assigned to the program for clinical training.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in behavioral science/related field with 4,000 hours of experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
Upon hire must earn certification in First Aid and CPR training.
Must complete 245I trainings and supervision as required by statute.
