About this role
The Mental Health Professional provides clinical services to individuals under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor or Mental Health Director. Education
* Master's degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.
Experience

Licenses/Certifications

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that the OA contractual goal is met during the appraisal period and ensures individual OA ratings are at or above 100% for the appraisal period
Ensures that a corrective action plan is in place to meet any and all measures that are below 100%.
Attends and actively participates in OMS meetings and ensures 100% overall according to the monthly
OAOMS report card and actively participate in committees and provide support to center functions and activities.
Ensure that the Area Marketing Plan for each county is developed and maintained on the AMP spreadsheet and ensure that the One-Stop Centers have a plan for ensuring Job Corps presence, updated materials and that there is a plan for target recruitment (females, ELL, etc.).
Work closely with Business Community Liaison and Work Based Learning Coordinator on outreach activities and center functions such as the CID and CRC
Must access, verify and document applicant eligibility in strict accordance with the PRH guidelines and ensure the support of all on center measures in regard to OMS and is fully supporting Center's OBS capacity and student employee retention.
Adhere to the PRH requirements and maintain integrity in all their work to meet the standards of the ROCA, COCA and OIG.
Responsible to ensure that the S/E feel that they were provided with specific and accurate information regarding the Center prior to arrival and act S/E mentor, ensuring that assigned S/Es are making progress and receive necessary support to be successful in the program.
Maintain budget as described by the Administration/Finance Department.

Summary: Responsible for assisting a site specific School's Out Site Director and Assistant Director in programming, planning, supervision, and related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the daily operation of the after school program by:
Interacting with students, staff, parents, and the school community in a constructive manner to create a positive, welcoming learning environment.
Providing general supervision to students. Ensures guidelines for participation, inclusion, conduct, and discipline are followed to maintain a safe, enjoyable learning environment.
Monitoring student transitions and dismissal from activities.
Serving as a liaison and maintaining relationships with students, school administrators, parents/guardians, volunteers, and community members.
Assists with the planning, coordination, and supervision of students for monthly field trips.
Attends meetings as needed.
Providing regular reports and/or feedback to the Site Director containing a summary of activities, recommended actions, needs, concerns, and success highlights. Reports incidents involving students and/or staff immediately to the School's Out Site Director and/or Assistant Program Administrator.
Assist the Site Director in administrative processes including, but not limited to: attendance, data collection and entry, training staff, communications, activity planning, and performing enrollment procedures.
Participates in training and professional development, as determined appropriate, by the School's Out Assistant Program Administrator. May provide training to others in a group or individual setting or with the onboarding of new hires.
In the absence of the Site Director or Assistant Site Director, may be assigned additional responsibilities for the supervision of others and/or the oversight of some or all program activities. Such responsibilities will be at the direction of the Site Director or Program Administrator.
May participate in interviewing and hiring processes and assist with student problem resolution.
May mentor Level 1 or Youth Volunteer/Leader in training employees.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience: Associate's Degree or sixty (60) or more college-level credits is preferred. Two or more years of successful experience in a school setting and work with special needs students is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of disabilities, laws, teaching principles and methods, and instructional programming is helpful. Previous supervisory experience helpful.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and Second Step Basic Specialized Care, and maintained Advanced Specialized Care Certification annually. Trained in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Other Skills and Abilities: An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community is essential. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form is required.
