+ Monitor account bankruptcy proceedings and document post-bankruptcy indemnity. Draft and file proofs of claim and advise as to potential recovery. Retain outside counsel where appropriate to protect or enforce surety rights.
+ Negotiate the resolution of bonded obligations on defaulted contracts, and terms of agreements including indemnity agreements, letters of credit, set aside letters from lenders, intercreditor agreements and subordination agreements.
+ Determine whether bond exposure has expired, including for the purpose of releasing collateral, by reviewing bond terms, applicable law, and court dockets (when applicable).
+ Monitor marketplace conditions, conduct research, and draft reference materials to inform claim and underwriting colleagues on law impacting Travelers' underwriting and claim decisions.

Salary Range: $22.40-$31.25 per hour (depending on experience and licensure)
Job Site: Denver office
Job Summary:
The Outpatient Counselor provides daily support, counseling, and case management to clients while maintaining a safe and structured treatment environment. This role is responsible for overseeing client care, developing comprehensive continuing care plans, and ensuring that clients' recovery needs are met throughout treatment. Additionally, this role collaborates with clients to create effective post-treatment strategies, facilitating a smooth and secure transition as they progress in their recovery journey.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
CAT required, CAS preferred.
DORA-registered required.
Two or more years of proven experience with people and program management in clinical settings.
Two years of experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
Experience with EMR system preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Valid, non-restricted Colorado driver's license.
Knowledge of best practices for SUD treatment, evidence-based behavioral medicine treatments, and trauma-integrated care.
Experience facilitating groups.
Ability to connect with clients on a positive, inspiring level to support lasting recovery.
Strong relationship-building, listening, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Capacity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Compassionate and client-centered approach with discretion in handling sensitive matters.
Strong time management and organizational skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Facilitate group sessions.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
Complete admission paperwork.
Provide support services to individuals in treatment, ensuring a person-centered approach.
Collaborate with clinical, medical, and admissions staff to support comprehensive client care.
Assist with case management needs.
Create post-treatment strategies and plans.
Contribute to clinical decisions and reinforce a team-based approach to treatment.
Maintain a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment while ensuring client safety and satisfaction.
Attend required team meetings and maintain ongoing communication with the clinical team, family members, and clients.
Identify and respond appropriately to medical concerns, emergency signals, and crisis situations.
Complete all required documentation within organizational time frames and accreditation standards.
Support operational needs and tasks at the location.
Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Adhere to and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, OSHA, JCAHO, BHA, state & federal laws).
Represent and embody the mission, values, and ethical standards of NRT.
