Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) and LANSA to support, enhance, and modernize legacy banking applications. The candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure smooth operation of loan servicing, commercial lending, and financial data systems.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support AS400-based applications integrated with ACBS and LANSA frameworks.
Perform analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of new and existing features in commercial lending systems.
Collaborate with business users to understand functional requirements for loan origination, servicing, and reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to batch jobs, data feeds, and interface errors.
Work on modernization initiatives - such as migrating legacy code to newer platforms or APIs.
Participate in code reviews, change management, and production deployment activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with IT and audit standards.
Requirements:
AS400 / iSeries development (RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400).
ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) - understanding of loan servicing, facilities, syndication, and interest calculation modules.
LANSA (Visual LANSA / RDMLX) - application development, integration, and maintenance.
DB2/400 database management and query optimization.
APIs / Data Interfaces: XML, MQ, or REST integration experience preferred.
Knowledge of batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M).
Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ticketing and change control systems.

· Processes any necessary insurance/patient correspondence.
· Provides all necessary documentation required to expedite payments. This includes demographic, authorization/referrals, National Provider Identification (NPI) number, and referring physicians.
· Coordinates with inter-departmental associates to obtain appropriate medical records as they relate to the reimbursement process.
· Maintains confidentiality in regards to patient account status and the financial affairs of clinic/corporation.
