Vantor is seeking a Geospatial Developer to help with design, development, and maintenance of a centralized ArcGIS web portal that serves as the primary geospatial data repository for our government customer. This project supports a hard and deeply buried target mission set, providing critical analytic insights to government stakeholders. Success depends on the development of accurate, scalable, and mission-tailored software solutions that enable timely and informed decision-making. Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance a custom ArcGIS web portal using ESRI tools and APIs.

Collaborates with high school counselors, college advisors and career development coordinators (CDCs) to promote CTE degree options/careers and develop Career Development Plans. Assists in the development of CTE career pathways. Provide career exploration/planning, development, and academic/career counseling to high school students. Engage key stakeholders: students, counselors, faculty, parents/guardians, through information sessions (Parent Nights, open houses, grade-level meetings, community events, etc.) and related to college opportunities. Participate in school-related activities in which WCC courses, programs, and opportunities for articulated credit are promoted. Maintains accurate and appropriate student records necessary to perform effective academic/career advising and registration for high school students. Provide academic success strategies and supportive interventions to facilitate successful transition from high school to college, foster progression, and promote completion of credentials.
