Job Summary/Purpose:
The Operational Governance and Execution department is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven individual with acute technical skills to help implement observability solutions for various IT systems. Specifically, the qualified individual shall have expertise in performing operational data analysis, identify trends and metrics of interest to the organization and translate them into intuitive business and/or technical dashboards. The individual will work under the guidance of OGE leadership and liaison with various IT Service Delivery infrastructure and application support teams.
This individual should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to develop observability solutions that enhance decision-making and system performance.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develop, design, and optimize Splunk dashboards to visualize key business and technical metrics.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with application support personnel and other technical teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
Work with various cross-functional teams, including Cybersecurity on data ingestion and maintenance activities.
Implement best practices for dashboard performance, scalability, and usability.
Work with logs, metrics, and traces to improve system observability.
Automate data collection and dashboard updates for real-time monitoring.
Create configurations to alert personnel of operationally relevant observability events.
Provide recommendations for improving observability practices across the organization.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices related to Splunk and observability solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
IT Specialist Sr: 4+ years of relevant experience in observability, data analysis, or related roles.
IT Consultant: 6+ years of relevant experience in observability, data analysis, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Splunk and dashboard development.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Strong expertise in Splunk dashboard development, including SPL (Search Processing Language).
Proven ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and create meaningful visualizations.
Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders to define metrics and KPIs.
Solid understanding of observability concepts, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with cloud-based observability tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Grafana) is a plus.

As the residential center opens, the SUD Counselor must be flexible and support the team in successful launch and scaling of services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Assistant Vice President of Integrated & Behavioral Health in the successful design and implementation of programming across American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) residential levels of care (3.5, 3.3, and 3.1) and aftercare peer support services.
Support the Assistant Vice President of Integrated & Behavioral Health in the successful completion of the Implementation and Evaluation Phases of the Regional Partnership Grant (RPG), including adherence to RPG Research requirements.
Work closely with supervisory and residential center staff to ensure the provision of team-based care for all persons served is high quality, efficient, and in compliance with all accreditation and funding source requirements.
Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to persons served, utilizing individual, family, group interventions to the mothers in the residential center.
Conduct required admission, assessment and screening instruments with persons served to guide service delivery in line with best practices based on the individualized needs of each person served.
Update and review person-centered care plans by established deadlines.
Complete concurrent reviews, and other requirements with MCOs to ensure approval of services based on the ASAM level of care for the maximum amount of time based on medical necessity.
Precisely document and track prior authorizations, concurrent reviews, and other requirements in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and additional tracking spreadsheets as required. Ensure clear communication of deadlines for future concurrent reviews and other requirements to other staff.
Utilize concurrent documentation and record accurate information in the EHR of each person served within 1 business day. Ensure documentation is completed in compliance with all accreditation and funding source requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures and practices of VOASELA are met.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Sr. Program Coordinator for the Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Graduate Program is responsible for the year-long coordination of several educational programs coordinated by and overseen by the BMS Program. These programs include BMS Master's programs, Certificate programs, Medical Student Research programs, and Undergraduate Research programs. Responsibilities include maintenance of records, posting courses, utilizing social media to forge student connections, updating web and print marketing materials, and acting as the liaison between the BMS Office and the Master's Programs. The Program Coordinator will work closely with department master's/certificate program coordinators, providing recruitment and admissions support to the individual programs and providing tracking of program outcomes. This is a highly student-facing role, meeting with current and prospective students via video conferencing and in-person. The Coordinator will work closely with faculty and administrators in the SOM Office of Medical Education to ensure LCME standards are met. The Coordinator will work closely with the other members of the BMS Administration team to ensure a seamless experience for BMS students. • Experience with student academic advising and career development.
* Knowledge of or experience with delivering and interpreting aptitude tests.
* Knowledge of career development programs for master's and doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows.
* Knowledge and experience with academic and non-academic career opportunities.
* Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives and strategies.
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as a positive, contributing member of a team,
* Experience with data management, with a strong ability to use and understand data collected in spreadsheets and similar systems.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), database software) and web page development/content management programs/social media.
* Has an appreciation for the cyclical nature of admission work and the flexibility to handle a variety of duties and projects throughout the day as well as throughout the year.
* Must be willing and available to work nights and weekends during recruitment and application review season. Will have occasional travel.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies, including students, faculty, academic deans, and senior administrators, as well as internal and external partners.
* Ability to use independent judgement and manage and impart confidential information.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty and administrators.
* Ability to follow instructions and to work independently on various projects.
* Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience in academic records management, marketing, recruitment, or admissions, preferably within an educational institution or similar environment.
OR
* Master's Degree with 2 years of directly related work experience, specifically in the coordination of graduate and/or graduate medical education programs.
* Graduate and/or graduate medical education student and career advising.
* Experience with Banner, Courseleaf, Ilios, ExamSoft, CommonSpot (and Drupal), Canvas, Slate.
