Coordinate referrals for education, employment, housing, legal, and health services. Facilitate or co-facilitate parenting, life skills, and financial literacy workshops. Maintain consistent communication with participants to support engagement, retention, and completion. Document all services and outcomes in DYCD Connect and internal data systems. Perform other duties assigned by the Program Director. Program Coordination and Collaboration Work collaboratively with MCNY Career Services, STRIVE, Union Settlement, and other partner organizations to ensure access to workforce and support services. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and cross-agency trainings. Assist in outreach, recruitment, and orientation of new participants. Support planning and implementation of family engagement and community events. Compliance and Reporting Ensure compliance with DYCD guidelines for participant eligibility, service delivery, and documentation. Prepare reports, case notes, and follow-up summaries as required by the Program Director. Contribute to program evaluation and continuous quality improvement efforts. Qualifications Required Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Experience working with NYC public systems (e.g., ACS, HRA, OCSS) strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. The Family Development Coach will occasionally work evening hours (typically until 8:00 p.m.) and up to two Saturdays per month to accommodate participant workshops, family engagement events, and community outreach activities. Preferred Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience working with custodial and noncustodial fathers, or in fatherhood, workforce, or reentry programs. Familiarity with DYCD-funded programs or performance tracking systems such as DYCD Connect. Proficiency in case management platforms.
