Job Purpose: - The BA/BS Counselor at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to individuals seeking mental health support. This role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote mental well-being and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. - Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. - Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with organizational and legal standards. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field of mental health counseling. - Engage in community outreach activities to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues. - Support clients in crisis situations by providing immediate intervention and referrals to appropriate resources. - Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions and documentation.
