The Floor Counselor works in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure best possible treatment outcome for the participant and provide treatment in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360's philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision. The Floor Counselor provides supervision and oversight of the participants and children throughout the facility. The Floor Counselor provides facility coverage by supervising the participants during chores, visiting hours, mealtimes, medication line, withdrawal management, donations, groups, and free time. The Floor Counselor is customer service focused and frequently provides crisis intervention and participant stabilization. Provides facility coverage by supervising the participants during chores, visiting hours, mealtimes, medication line, medication management, donations, groups, and free time with shifts ranging throughout the day/night to provide 24/7 coverage

Assists in room searches as needed with another staff member
Aids in inventorying participant belongings at time of admission and at discharge. For participants that leave for unplanned reasons, will assist in packing up the participants belongings and storing per policy and procedure

Required:
Registration as Substance Abuse Counselor from an approved/accredited California agency
CDCR fingerprint clearance
Must not be on parole or probation for a minimum of two years
