This position plays the part of a 1920s schoolteacher, dressing in period clothing. The Museum Teacher conducts lessons as students also study on their own, much like a one-room school would have operated. The Museum Teacher follows a script loosely, and lessons are provided. The school has no electricity and is heated by a coal stove. Starting the fire is not the responsibility of this position, however, stoking it and closing the flue at end of the day is part of the Museum Teacher's duties.
