DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead FPGA architecture, design, and integration efforts for mission-critical digital signal processing applications.
* Develop and maintain modular, reusable FPGA IP cores and libraries with a focus on long-term product sustainability and design efficiency.
* Design and implement high-speed digital interfaces, including 10/40/100 GbE, PCIe Gen 3/4, and DDR4 memory interfaces, ensuring high performance and compliance across systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including systems engineers, embedded software engineers, and program managers-to translate system-level requirements into scalable FPGA design architectures.
* Guide and mentor FPGA engineers, promoting best practices in design, verification, documentation, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee and contribute to verification and validation processes, including functional simulation, in-system testing, and performance optimization.
* Drive early risk identification and mitigation strategies using simulation, evaluation boards, and prototype testing to accelerate development timelines.
* Define and implement robust test strategies for functional and performance validation of mission-critical FPGA designs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develops, evaluates, and discusses possible turnkey HVAC solutions with Account Manager, Project Manager, Sub-contractor, Supplier, and/or customer.
* Collects project data needed to assemble turnkey project scope and estimate.
* Utilizes plans, specifications, and knowledge of construction industry to analyze project needs and compiles detailed cost estimates.
* Supports Account Managers in developing and establishing project installation budgets and preparing the sub-contractor request for quotation's (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; permitting and bonding requirements.
* Responsible for creating cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor (start-up, service work, etc.), and other construction-related activities to assist Account Managers in bidding on or determining price of project.
* Responsible for the take-off and pricing of purchased equipment to ensure accuracy of quantity, size, configuration, voltage, options, etc.
* Able to communicate, schedule, analyze information, and take responsibility for estimating duties.
* Review bid documents for potential conflicts and constructability issues.
* Communicate with customer, subcontractors, engineers, and designers on changes or adjustments for estimates and ensure all project needs are met.
* Provide key technical support in pursuit of Trane business, including participation on strategic job acquisition teams.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining subcontractor relations, along with evaluating and categorizing subcontractors.
* Assist and support all efforts of acquisition and customer satisfaction.

Network with community service providers, employers and other partners to assist clients.Work as a team to ensure monthly job placement goals are met. Occasional work after-hours and on weekends, as needed. Complete all necessary reporting forms for government agencies and funding sources. Maintain appropriate communication with employment staff and other funding sources. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
