Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
Master's degree in counseling, social work or related human services field required. LPC, LCSW, or LCP required. Licensed Eligible will be considered as long as fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia by December 2024
Must provide a copy of License, certification s, Liability Insurance Coverage and all Graduate Level transcripts
Minimum of one (1) year of outpatient style individual counseling experience working with adults
Minimum of one (1) year of direct clinical service working with victims of trauma
Other Requirements
Must be 18 years of age
Must complete the training program of the YWCA SHR
Must complete a background check

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical office environment with a high standard of confidentiality. A typical work week is M-T 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 9:00am-4:00pm, and at least one evening a week until 7:00pm. This may vary based on the needs of the clients. Full time staff are encouraged to work at least 2 days per week in-person and may work 3 days remotely. Any counseling staff member that provides telehealth services from their home must have a confidential space to provide services.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud
Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier and fax machine
COMPENSATION
This position offers a hiring range of $48,000 that is based on experience and a full benefits packet to include health, vision, and dental insurance, 17 paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement and other benefits.
