    TowerMRL and Advanced Tower Services have immediate openings for Telecommunication Tower Foreman - Level 2 for someone looking for professional and personal growth while traveling throughout the US. POSITION DOES REQUIRE LOCATION TO OUR COTTAGE GROVE, WI OR ALBUQUERQUE, NM LOCATION WITHIN 60 TO 120 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. Telecommunication Tower Foreman -Level 2 will manage and train field personnel to perform a wide variety of field specific job duties. We travel throughout the US and although the travel is extensive, we look to schedule employees for 2-3 weeks in the field at a time. Time off is backlogged after each deployment. Employees wanting greater pay have the option for longer assignments. Tower Technicians must have the ability to climb heights in excess of 500 feet, lift more than 50 lbs., and have the ability to travel extensively out of state for extended periods of time, including overnight and weekends. ToweMRL/Advanced Tower Services provides all training and certifications, base pay (including travel time), individual hotel rooms and per diem pay for incidentals for overnight work days. All new employees will undergo a full tower and rescue training prior to first deployment. Tower Technicians have opportunity for extensive overtime and room for advancement. The Aerial Foreman position will oversee a crew of employees depending on job type and size. This position will coordinate with the Field Supervisor on lining out daily jobs. She/he will oversee installations, ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, assess install sites, and prepare install diagrams. Essential Job Duties + Be the main liaison between SOSi Headquarters Program Management Office (PMO), SOSi personnel, and government officials. + Serve as SOSi's authorized representative for technical and administrative performance of all services require by the Field Division, District, Regional, or post of duty office they support. + Be the single point of contact (POC) for the assigned location through which all government engagement and communications shall be conducted. + Fulfill all the functions and duties described herein for Analytic Linguists. + Effectively and efficiently plan and organize the various duties. + Assign Linguists to monitor real-time oral telecommunications and/or written communication intercepts. + Assign Linguists to transcribe, translate, and validate completed work. + Be accountable for daily work assignments and products. + Ensure that the Contractor's QC Plan is implemented and fully operational. + Ensure that each Linguist completes their work assignments(s) prior to the end of their shift. + Oversee daily activity to ensure that all tasks are being properly executed. + Maintain records of work production, evidence control, and other administrative records as required by DEA. + Prepare and present to SOSi, the COR, or his /her designee, a quarterly schedule detailing adequate manpower coverage for each shift for the forthcoming quarter. + Maintain time and attendance records for all Contract personnel. + Monitor, recording, translating, transcribing, and synopsizing content of real-time oral and/or written communication. + Transcribe from storage media, including but not limited to audio cassettes, video cassettes or other digital media and typing in both the required foreign language and English. + Prepare typed English translations and /or transcriptions from other source media. + Perform QC review(s) of completed work. + Validate the accuracy of completed translations and transcriptions. + Appear in court when subpoenaed to testify. + Interpreting oral and/or written conversations, concurrently and/or simultaneously. **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements + Bachelor's degree with a major in Spanish from an English-speaking college or university or bachelor's degree with a major in English from a Spanish-speaking college or university OR a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. + Five years of supervisory experience that demonstrates oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and administrative management skills. + Must have experience that demonstrates an ability to effectively manage people and resources to satisfy project objectives and ensure completion of assigned tasks. + Must have excellent command of the English language and the ability to provide clear, concise, oral, and written communications. + Must possess the skills necessary to listen and comprehend a foreign language with native or near-native ability, and to follow accurately the basic elements of conversation, whether written or verbal. + Must possess the skills necessary to read and comprehend foreign languages with a native or near-native ability and to read and understand various text-types. + Must have the ability to comprehend slang and colloquial expressions in a foreign language and translate them into English. + Must possess a sufficiently broad vocabulary in English that paraphrasing or explaining is unnecessary. + Must have the ability to work well under pressure to meet specific deadlines. + A minimum of 40 wpm typing/word processing skill and have managerial presentation skills. **Additional Information** **Work Environment** + Normal office working conditions. + Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary. + May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs. + May require up to 25% travel in support of assigned tasks and responsibilities. **Working at SOSi** All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason. We inspire young adults to make a positive difference in themselves and their communities. Through training and service, Corpsmembers discover their potential for healthy, productive lives. POSITION PURPOSE: Assistant Crew Leaders (ACLs) play a pivotal role in building successful crews and meaningful programming. They are leaders, facilitators, and communicators, tasked with inspiring fellow Corpsmembers to achieve personal and professional growth. As both a member of the crew and a part of the leadership team the ACL occupies a unique and demanding position. For the right individual, this position is a pathway towards full leadership positions and further opportunities in conservation. POSITION TYPE: Seasonal, full time, exempt AmeriCorps member SCHEDULE: Day work, Spike schedule, or Hybrid schedule. Day work schedule is Tuesday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm with weekends off. Spike schedule is Tuesday-Tuesday, 7:00am-5:30pm, camping at the project site. Spike is 8 days on shift followed by 6 days off. Hybrid schedule includes both spike work and day work. Participants must have reliable transportation to and from this location, according to their work schedule for the duration of the season. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Crew Leadership In partnership with Crew Supervisor, assist in the creation of a highly collaborative leadership structure with shared responsibilities and input. Help facilitate scheduled educational training throughout the season, while also assisting in impromptu “teachable moments” in the field. Model appropriate professional behavior, environmental stewardship, and work ethic for Corpsmembers; be an example that inspires the crew. Maintain a strong commitment to creating a culture of safety within the crew. Assist with crew function during disaster relief work lasting up to 45 days (if deployed). Project Management Serve with Crew Supervisor, Program Coordinator, project sponsors, and organizational partners to accomplish projects in an efficient and timely manner. Assist with leadership of the crew (or a portion of the crew) for project efficiency or as the need arises, under the direction and supervision of program staff. Examples include guidance with proper tool use, assisting with the organization of service tasks such as organizing a crew on a trail or thinning project, or helping to facilitate safety discussions with the crew. Assisting with leadership does not include direct supervisory tasks like discipline or timecard approval, which are handled solely by staff crew supervisors or other program staff. Track daily tool issues, ensuring that tools are well-maintained, organized, and accounted for throughout project work. Assist in daily preparation of supplies and equipment: first aid kits, vehicle inspection, personal protective equipment. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the facilitation of crew meetings on a regular basis. Assist in reporting requirements and project impact paperwork. Create a leadership development plan to further personal growth and leadership competencies. Comply with all RMYC and AmeriCorps rules and policies and not participate in any prohibited activities as described in the member agreement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 18-30 years of age as of February 2, 2026 US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident Able to complete entire length of service term (see “dates” above) Experience Experience with, or an interest in, environmental or conservation related projects.
