This individual will work in conjunction with the project manager and project superintendent to deliver construction projects safely, on schedule and within budget. The labor foreman will be responsible for executing efficient production activities in support of the project and project team. This role will, at times, perform work and at other times supervise laborers and labor subcontractors. The Labor Foreman will be responsible for the following: Supervise and work independently at general labor activities including construction support for demolition operations, concrete work, and carpentry installation including: Assist project supervision with loading and unloading equipment. Position: Solar Electrical Foreman We are seeking a skilled Solar Electrical Foreman to lead our field team. In this role, you will supervise both electrical and mechanical subcontractors on solar installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step. This is a year-round travel position with opportunities for advancement as we expand. What You'll Do Lead and supervise teams of electrical and mechanical subcontractors on solar projects. Interact with clients/property owners to answer questions and address concerns. Ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and up to NYSERDA and NEC standards. Conduct safety briefings and enforce compliance with OSHA and local regulations. Guide electricians on-site with leadership and troubleshooting support. Resolve installation issues (equipment malfunctions, errors, material delays). Keep detailed daily logs of work progress, safety inspections, and challenges. Oversee shipping, storage, and delivery logistics of project materials. What We're Looking For Experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician, preferably in solar or construction. Strong leadership and communication skills. Deep understanding of NEC codes, NYSERDA requirements, and OSHA safety protocols. Ability to travel for projects year-round.
