Job Duties:
As you might expect, leadership is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll be:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities.
Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.
Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don't allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with Hot Water Heaters.
Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed.
Responsible for teaching apprentices.
Manage and supervise the mechanical and plumbing on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Develop plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards
Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of workmanship
Prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours

About This Position:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to oversee various plumbing tasks, from underground plumbing to rough-in and trim plumbing. This position involves managing teams, ensuring quality work, and maintaining project timelines.
What You'll Do:
Underground Plumbing:
Excavation: Supervise trench digging with proper fall.
Installation: Oversee installation of plumbing trunks, stacks, floor drains, cleanouts, copper for trap primers, cast iron pipes, septic systems, grease interceptors.
Testing: Ensure plumbing systems are tested, pipes wrapped, and stacks measured accurately.
Rough-In Plumbing:
Drilling: Manage drilling of vent and water systems.
Installation: Supervise running of vent and water systems, hanging pipes, installing floor drains, sinks, closet flanges, trap primers, wall carrier systems, mixing valves, roof drain harnesses, condensate drains, insulation.
Soldering: Ensure soldering is done without leaks, copper pipes are reamed.
Trim Plumbing:
Installation: Oversee installation of strainers, faucets, lavatories, mixing valves, toilets, urinals, flush valves, floor drains, angle stops, p-traps, disposals, dishwashers, RO systems, soft water systems, backflows, sinks, water heaters, expansion tanks, booster pumps, condensate drains, electrical heat tape, manifold gas systems, mop sinks, caulking with silicone.
Testing: Ensure water temperatures are set, drains tested, cleanouts, access panels, indirect drains installed.
Additional Tasks: Supervise hook-up of ice machines, sprayer faucets, gas flexes, gas regulators, water filters, exterior cleanouts, circulating pumps, ensure ADA compliance.
Tools:
Required Tools: Ensure team has tub cutters, mini-sledge, dykes, level, tape measure, channel locks, impact drill, driver drill, soldering torch, lighter, reamer, copper cutters, allen wrenches, socket drivers, screwdrivers, drill bit accessories, tool bags.
Physical Requirements:
Supervise team lifting 50lbs overhead, dead lifting 100lbs.
Ensure team can bend, crawl, climb ladders, hold weight, step into ditches, reach overhead.
Supervise team using sledge hammer, jackhammer, climbing spoils, working on back/knees.
Ensure team can dig with shovel, withstand 30-115 degree temperatures, avoid cramping.
Supervise team moving wheelbarrow, swinging pick/digging bar, unloading pipe, working in tight spaces.
Ensure team can work early mornings, climb stairs with tools, work on lifts/ladders, walk/work 8-10 hours a day.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial building services projects.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project deadlines.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations.
Oversee installation, assembly, and repair of piping systems, including HVAC, chilled water, steam, hot water, and process piping.
Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
Conduct quality control inspections to verify accuracy and craftsmanship of work performed.
Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve job site issues.
Train and mentor journeymen and apprentices, promoting skill development and teamwork.
Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and material usage logs.
Proactively identify potential delays or issues and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of progressive pipefitting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Advanced knowledge of commercial mechanical piping systems (HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing systems).
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews effectively.
OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 10 required.

Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
