You'd be responsible for:


Conducting weekly job site inspections OSHA 10 Minimum OSHA 30 Preferred Completing job site checklist Installation of required materials for landscaping/irrigation/site development Scheduling delivery of materials and equipment Crews production rates, quality control and safety Assisting in job scheduling and coordination of subcontractors Ensuring that all employees are attending the weekly tailgate meeting Confirming that all employees are operating safely at all times including reviewing potential traffic hazards; performing hard hat checks and safety gear checks; underground alert reviews; other trades hazard review and performing general public safety checks Maintaining a hazardous communication folder including all relevant forms for chemicals used on the job site Reporting reckless or dangerous activities to job Superintendent; notify Safety Office of any accidents and submitting accident reports according to Company policy

Additionally, employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to:

Safeguard assets from theft and misuse Ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud Comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulation Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records


You might be a good fit if you have:


Minimum8 years construction site experience Utilize Site Level for layouts and grade establishments Knowledge of blueprints Ability to lead others and manage crews Ability to be certified in first aid A Driver's License Effective written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic Ability to work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic Ability to work near or about natural bodies of water Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required) Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.) Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day

What You Can Expect

As a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising framing, drywall, finish, &/or acoustical ceiling crews throughout commercial projects and report to the Field Superintendent & Project Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining a schedule, safety, customer satisfaction, discipline, and morale. Must show expertise in various disciplines.

Overall responsibility to oversee projects and to make sure the projects are completed per the plans and specifications in an efficient & safe manner while also meeting expected quality standards.

To Be Successful

• Minimum 3-5 years of metal framing, drywall, & acoustical ceiling related install experience
• Must be able to read drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontracts.
• Understand procedural documents such as ASIs, RFIs, and submittal processes.

For Your Safety

• Lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Climb ladders and scaffolding
• Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees
• Stand for extended periods of time

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Community Foreman of Internal Renovations position.

In this role, you will coordinate, manage, and assist in all renovation activities. This position will be fully engaged in all resale activities and work closely with all vendors to ensure apartments and/or other renovation projects are being completed as scheduled.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 4-5 years of technical maintenance experience

+ Technical knowledge of painting, carpentry, layout work, and tool utilization, as well as knowledge of all plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sprinkler systems

+ Good working knowledge of all phases of electricity and national electrical codes

+ Understanding of national fire protection codes, EPA, and OSHA, as well as other local, state, and federal regulations

+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
