    Job Title: Plumbing Foreman Reports to: Plumbing Supervisor Department: New Construction Primary Purpose: Install sustainable and code-compliant plumbing systems professionally, upholding the company's mission to “Protect the Health of the Nation.” Qualifications: Certification: Valid Maryland driver's license Valid Maryland Plumber's Journey license Valid Backflow Device Technician Certification OSHA 30 Certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Expertise in plumbing installation, diagnosis, and repair Ability to supervise personnel and subcontractors effectively Proficiency with material take-offs, line drawings, and blueprint reading Familiarity with local codes and safety regulations Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience: Five years of experience in new construction plumbing Proven ability to read blueprints and perform plumbing layout Primary Duties: Install functional plumbing systems that meet current plumbing codes and project specifications. Coordinate and communicate plumbing system layout with other trades and contractors. Supervise and direct plumbing mechanics, apprentices, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards. Maintain accurate daily logs, including photo documentation of work completed, and ensure compliance with both client and industry standards. Ensure timely coordination with supervisors and the office for material ordering, inspections, and project updates. Monitor and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Adhere to and enforce OSHA, national, and local safety standards to maintain a safe work environment. Proactively communicate project status, challenges, and resource needs to both client management and company management. Attend and contribute to project progress meetings and foreman meetings. Maintain company tools, ensuring proper inventory, functionality, and care. Address customer concerns professionally and work to resolve issues promptly. Complete project punch lists and ensure all tasks are finalized to customer satisfaction. Key Expectations: Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Exhibit a positive attitude and motivate team members. Assist in training and mentoring field employees to enhance skills and safety awareness. Protect company assets and maintain customer property integrity. Preference will be given to military veterans.

Perform work activities within productions budget. Assist Superintendent and General Foreman with job start up sheets and schedules. Assist the Superintendent in overseeing and coordinating subcontractor's work. Subcontractor to perform on schedule in accordance with subcontract. Maintain positive jobsite relations with owner, subcontractors and prime contractor. Maintain job diary being sure to enter instructions from Owner, daily activity and location, communications with subcontractors, and anything unusual. Coordination with Superintendent / General Foreman regarding production review, activity planning, progress, and compliance with contract documents. Identify/document changes and notify Superintendent / General Foreman before proceeding. Take all steps necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the contract provisions. Notify Superintendent / General Foreman to document completion of milestones in work and final completion of work. Responsible for daily checks on safety. Responsible for daily time sheets. Responsible for daily planning of material, equipment, and labor needs. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Continuing education in construction is a plus. Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman supervising underground utilities projects. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and diagrams. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must have a valid driver's license.
