Job Duties: As you might expect, leadership is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll be: Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities. Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals. Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don't allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with Hot Water Heaters. Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed. Responsible for teaching apprentices. Manage and supervise the mechanical and plumbing on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Develop plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient.
