System Design & Installation: Work closely with our design team to develop efficient irrigation systems tailored to each project's specific needs. The Grading / Earthwork Foreman will supervise and coordinate field operations for all grading, excavation, and embankment activities on the Vicksburg National Military Park Stabilization and Road Repair Project.
This position requires strong technical knowledge of earthwork, slope stabilization, drainage installation, and roadway subgrade preparation. The Foreman will ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and environmental regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesField Supervision & Planning
Lead, direct, and coordinate daily operations of grading and earthwork crews, including equipment operators, laborers, and truck drivers.
Interpret construction drawings, grades, and staking information to ensure correct lines, slopes, and elevations.
Plan and assign daily tasks to maintain schedule and production goals.
Coordinate closely with surveyors, project engineers, and QC personnel to verify grades and tolerances.

Ensure Mullins' safety policies and procedures are enforced and maintained on a daily basis. This includes:
Enforcing site specific safety plan
Attending weekly safety toolbox talks
Submitting detailed Incident Reporting Forms to field supervision on the day the incident occurred and assist Superintendent in gathering potential claim documentation when applicable
Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager, Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the Quality Assurance Plan is implemented throughout the duration of the project
Notify the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent of any delays or opportunities to accelerate the schedule
Request materials and equipment from the Superintendent, as necessary, to complete assigned work
Ensure tools and equipment are secured on the jobsite and that any repairs/maintenance needed is reported to the Superintendent
Maintain tools and equipment provided by Mullins to their jobsite, both owned and rented
Confirm the proper installation of all equipment on project
Use current technology (mobile apps, email, etc.) to track and distribute information on construction projects
Update, review and/or submit all required reports/logs in a timely manner:
Ensure jobsite remains clean and orderly
Qualifications:
Previous experience and proven track record as a construction Foreman for a trade Mullins self-performs, or in a similar role

About this Role
A Foreman at Southern Electric Corporation classification will have received their training in an approved forty-two (42) month apprenticeship program or a certified testing program or must have eight (8) years of continuous substation/line construction/maintenance experience. This role will perform commercial maintenance, install, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair of refrigeration systems in grocery stores and other commercial businesses.
Lead construction and installation team on refrigeration projects

Knowledge of refrigeration installation, electrical and microprocessor control systems
Knowledge of single systems, parallel rack systems, display cases and walk in boxes
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to locate and repair leaks on racks of single units
Ability to operate smartphone technology, hand tools and power tools
Able to read instructions and blueprints and follow safety procedures
Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
