Plumbing Foreman must also demonstrate the ability to understand and follow local codes and lead a crew comprised of plumbing mechanics and apprentices to finish a project on time and under budget. Required Skills and Qualifications: ACCOUNTABILITIES * Treat all people associated with Main Enterprises, both internally and externally, with respect, honesty and integrity always. * Work with a safe attitude promoting safe working practices. * Identify required tools and special equipment. * Install, repair, replace, copper, CPVC, and PEX water piping systems. * Install repair, replace cast iron and PVC drainage and vent piping. * Locate and mark positions for floor and wall penetrations as well as piping connections and plumbing fixtures. * Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment. * Install, repair and replace underground and aboveground storm sanitary, water and gas piping systems. * Install, repair and replace sinks, tubs, toilets, plumbing fixtures, etc. * Install, repair and replace water heaters. * Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks. * All installations must meet all applicable trade and building codes. * Other duties as assigned and required for complete plumbing systems. QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS * Valid CT Driver's License * CT Trade License - P-1, P-2 CT * Code knowledge OSHA 10 and/or 30 * Certified for Scissor and Boom Lift * Capable of giving direction and reading specifications & blueprints. * Ability to manage a crew size of (2) to (10) workers successfully. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS * Climb ladders 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 ft. and extension ladders where scissor lift doesn't apply. Climb stairwells. * Use of all required PPE (personal protective equipment). * Able to lift at least 75 lbs. * Install piping systems per plans, specifications and coordinated drawings. Responsibilities: * Promote and enforce company safety protocols * Lead, motivate, and supervise a crew of tree care professionals, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. * Assign and prioritize daily tasks based on project requirements and crew capabilities. * Be actively involved in on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members. * Oversee daily maintenance of tools and equipment assigned to you/your crew. * Demonstrate and perform proper climbing and rigging techniques, structural pruning and tree dissection skills. Qualifications: * 5+ years experience as a Crew Leader in residential tree care * Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment * Experience as an aerial lift operator and climber. * Proven ability to safely operate and maintain tree care equipment (e.g., chainsaws, stump grinders, chippers, aerial lifts). * Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper pruning techniques. * Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). * Capability to work in various outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain). * Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
