Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including as-built drawings, material usage, and equipment inventory.
5. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution
Issue Investigation: Investigate and troubleshoot OSP-related issues, such as network outages, signal interference, or equipment failures.
Coordination: Work with technical support teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize service interruptions and enhance network reliability.
Requirements Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in OSP construction and installation, with a strong background in managing teams and projects.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fiber optic infrastructure, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or training is a plus.
Licensing: Valid driver's license required; Class A driver's license preferred.
Availability: Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required for project needs.
Physical Requirements
Environment: Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including non-climate-controlled and outdoor settings.
Strength and Stamina: Must have physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and handling materials up to 50 lbs.
Protective Gear: Must be able to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

REPORTS TO: Installation Manager/General Superintendent FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Responsible for managing field installation and field personnel on the execution of a project or assignment. Leads coordination with operations teams as well as the customer's field staff. Supports the regional leadership team to implement the company's vision. Ensures project is completed on time and within budget, providing outstanding customer service for success of the project and future business. This position will champion ISECs values and work with the regional leadership team to build a strong culture that supports the company's vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Determine anchorage method for all products prior to installation start-up.2. Obtain dimensions with Project Management if needed.3. Coordinate with onsite trades as required. 4. Attend customer's weekly job meetings.5. Utilize and evaluate the Labor Cost to Complete to recognize and improve labor efficiencies. 6. Submit CTC completion list to PM team weekly. 7. Supervise field staff on the project including documenting performance.8. Train carpenters and laborers in ISEC installation and material handling methods.9. Establish and communicate day-to-day goals, develop methods, techniques, and systems to improve project outcome. 10. Coordinate and supervise material deliveries with project management and customer, arrange manpower and equipment, unload, document damage or shortages and distribute to installation location.11. Recognize contractual requirements and manage entitlement. 12. Keep a daily log/report of project problems noting any special occurrences, material deliveries, problems and directives. Submit to Customer and Project Management team.13. Utilize PlanGrid for project documentation 14. Oversee trash pickup and removal of ISEC materials from building daily.15. Review each building/floor for installation readiness two weeks prior to installation start date. Information to be provided to Project Management team. 16. Identify, order, sign-out/inventory all power tools, hand tools, specialty tools and expendable materials for each installer. Secure/locked up at the end of each workday. 17. Complete timecards for all field personnel, obtain signatures and submit to office weekly. 18. Keep up to date SDS on products used by the installers.19. Monitor project installation material budgets.20. Communicate material shortages to Project Management team. 21. Tape shop drawing elevations to wall at each elevation so installer has proper drawing to work from.22. Keep installation and contract drawings, specifications and submittals up to date including listing of RFIs and change orders.23. Organize, protect and maintain materials to be installed at the jobsite. All ISEC materials are to be secured/locked up at the end of each workday. 24. Manage/oversee subcontractors, if applicable.25. Out of town travel, as necessary for project. 26. Perform other duties as assigned.27. Engage with Project Management on material releases when required.
Safety ResponsibilityManage and implement ISEC safety requirements and recognition, holding installers working for them personally responsible for safety compliance.• Promote a positive atmosphere for safety excellence committed to the Safety Promise.• Coach employees who need improvement and assign work to only those employees trained and qualified to perform the task.• Ensure all recognized safety deficiencies are promptly corrected.• Report all injuries and incidents to Managers and Safety Department.• Completely and thoroughly plan work tasks.• Preparing and lead Safety Meetings.• Ensure field employee safety training.
