Work Environment
As a Superintendent / Foreman, the primary work location will be in the field onsite. There will typically be a trailer setup with office space available for use when not walking the site or supervising. Labor Foreman Earthwork and/or Sewer and Water
This position is responsible for managing day to day operations in the field on specific projects. This position specifically oversees the activities and supervision of crew workers on construction projects not limited to earthwork / site grading, utilities, water, sewer, and more.
Responsibilities
Ensure Quality and Safety are being executed
Understand and enforce company policies
Supervise field forces & subcontractors
Attend client meetings and ensure work is in compliance with Contract Documents
Coordinate efficient scheduling of crews, equipment, and materials and ensure back-up plans
Maintain daily communication with PMs and General Superintendent including daily project reporting and time management
Daily reports and production unit reporting
Sub-subcontractor management
Coordinate job progress and success with PM, General Superintendent.
Qualifications
Laborers Union Card Holder (preferrable)
Accountability with positive Can Do attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Advanced plan reading
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Basic computer skills (GPS knowledge a plus)
Safety knowledge
