POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instrumentation and Electrical Forman is responsible for planning, supervising, performing and coordinating all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. Also responsible for planning the daily activities for crew of workers.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Production:
Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints
Assist in lay out of work for crew
Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule
Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers
Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials
Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as:
Daily Reports, Safety Reports, ESRs, Inspection Reports, etc.
Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained, and repairs are done in a timely manner
Support jobsite Superintendent to coordinate activities of individual projects
May perform related trade work as required
Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice
Implement better methods of production in all aspects of job to strengthen best practices within Wanzek Construction, Inc.

Quality:
Monitor crew installation for quality issues
Monitor work areas to ensure quality work is being completed
Look for ways to improve safety, quality and productivity
Safety:
Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
Train and instruct crew members in safe work practices for assigned tasks.
Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly
SUPERVISORY:
Assist Human Resources and Superintendent by interviewing, hiring, training, appraising work performance and addressing complaints of employees in the field
Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers
Complete ESRs for all employees with a change in job status (transfer, laid off, terminated)
Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen
Manage up to six or more employees and Foreman
Conduct regular performance reviews
Train and mentor new workers
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical foreman role
Qualifications:

Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.

Essential Functions:
Hardware Installation Management (40%) - Lead and manage multiple crews of three or four field technicians that will be installing, erecting, maintaining, repairing, removing, or retrofit towers and rooftop antenna systems. Will also perform third party inspections.
Hardware Commissioning (10%) - Commission (test) hardware in accordance with the prevailing contractual share of the responsibility, specifications and quality requirements and document progress in the applicable Site Folder.
Documentation (20%) - Construction Field Technicians III / Foreman are responsible to log all installation, test, close out and inspection results. The Construction Field Technician III / Foreman will be responsible for reporting the crew hours for employees assigned on their crew.
Quality (20%) As the last representative on-site, the Construction Field Technician III / Foreman is responsible to assist in escalating all QA deficiencies to the Construction Field Manager or clearing the issue.
Fault and Discrepancy Reporting (10%) The Construction Field Technician III / Foreman will be responsible for managing the contents of an assigned commissioning kit for the issuance of fault and/or discrepancy reports to document kit churn. He/she will assist in ensuring defective components are promptly returned for replacement processing and will document and report equipment and material shortages immediately.
The Construction Field Technician III / Foreman will be responsible for assisting the Construction Field Manager on the installation of all network elements installed on site and other equipment as applicable and directed by the Construction Field Manager.
Job Requirements:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The OBR Service Foreman will supervise the service of cooling towers, preventative maintenance, and cooling tower repairs, ensuring that each job is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to OBR quality standards. The incumbent ensures that the service aspect of cooling towers is completed under experienced leadership and direction. Further, the incumbent is responsible for customer satisfaction, completing each job according to contract and budget, and completing all associated paperwork for job closeout. The successful incumbent will demonstrate strong leadership skills, ensure that job sites are as safe as possible, collaborates well with clients and fellow associates, and stays on time and on budget. The Service Foreman must work closely with OBR engineering, project management, purchasing and Service Management to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Position may require extensive travel depending on job locations.
ROLES/TASKS OF THE POSITION
· Always work safely and follow safe work procedures. Look out for co-workers and others at the jobsite. Must stop work if unsafe conditions are present.
· Interface with clients on all aspects of the project.
· Supervise and mentor field technicians.
· Conduct safety orientations and supervise OBR and industry safe work practices.
· Receive and manage service materials.
· Supervise service process.
· Create service reports and time reports.
· Select suppliers for equipment rental and field job supplies.
· Close out each job, including final paperwork, ensuring client approval and satisfaction.
· Manage job time produce profit for each job assigned.
· Create and manage schedules and work plans.
· Monitor progress of subcontractors.
· Coordinate and run pre-service meetings.
· Train and develop Foremen, Leadmen, and general crew (all crafts).
· Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to customer and OBR SOP and specifications and the adherence to service schedules.
· Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve service problems and improve service methods.
· Resource for strategic development of bid and project strategies.
· Resource for problem solving during service process.
· Responsible for planning various size projects ranging from simple inspections to large, complex projects.
· Travel to job sites required.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma, or equivalent
· 1-2 years (minimum) in the field performing cooling tower services.
· OSHA 10 AND OSHA 30 Certifications
· Certification in CPR and First Aid
· Valid Driver's License
· TWIC card
· Knowledge of Windows-based applications
· Knowledge and application of safety standards through OSHA training and experience
· Rigging, forklift, and man-lift certification
· Ability to manage large crews and work scopes.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:

**The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of the hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons in the designated departments and areas of our customer's plants to ensure that our team is working safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory agency, customer, and company policies and procedures. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instrumentation and Electrical Forman is responsible for planning, supervising, performing and coordinating all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities. Also responsible for planning the daily activities for crew of workers.

Assist in lay out of work for crew
Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule
Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers
Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials
Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as:
Daily Reports, Safety Reports, ESRs, Inspection Reports, etc.
Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained, and repairs are done in a timely manner
Support jobsite Superintendent to coordinate activities of individual projects
May perform related trade work as required
Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice
Implement better methods of production in all aspects of job to strengthen best practices within Wanzek Construction, Inc.
