Summary We are currently looking for a Pipelining Foreman to join our Underground & Pipelining Division in the Escondido, CA area. The Foreman responsible for leading, directing and coordinating the installation of UV-cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) on stormwater and wastewater rehabilitation and repair projects throughout Southern California. Other underground scopes of work include the installation and repair of sewer gravity and force mains, laterals, manholes, wet wells and pump stations, water mains, valves, fire hydrants, drains and air/vacs. Training on Company products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and specialty equipment will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities Function as working Foreman while leading and supervising employees, subcontractors, and vendors to complete underground construction and UV CIPP lining projects Collaborate with project team to create schedules and determine sequencing of work. Develop and implement strategies to maintain project schedule, as requested. Perform site investigations and assist with putting together labor and equipment hours for bids/proposals as needed Work closely with Superintendent to resolve problems related to procedures, project clarifications, adequate labor, equipment schedules and repairs, and other related matters Operate power construction equipment to facilitate scope of work required on project; including, but not limited to UV CIPP trucks, earth moving, excavation, material handling, aerial, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, street sweepers, forklifts, shooting boom forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts Review, complete, and submit required daily documentation for time sheets, daily reports, and safety paperwork Supervise and develop field employees, provide feedback and discipline as needed Display high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations Ability to travel and accommodate extended hours, alternative shifts (night or weekend) as needed Ability to maintain security clearance for base access Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED, required Minimum of (5) years' experience planning and implementing the construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair of underground utilities, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, required Minimum of (5) years' experience operating heavy equipment in the construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair of underground utilities, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, required Minimum of (5) years of field supervisory experience as superintendent, foreman, or crew lead, required Some experience installing Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP), required Must have and maintain an active OSHA 30-hour certification or willing to obtain within 90 days Skills and Requirements Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Must operate at a skilled level, and train others in the operation of construction equipment and specialized tools Must have proper training, knowledge, and experience in understanding excavations, trenching, and shoring. Responsible to ensure that only qualified operators run the equipment. Immediately returns rental equipment to the rental agency when it is no longer needed at the job site. Assures that all rental equipment that needs to be returned with a full tank of fuel has a full tank of the correct fuel. Manages the job so all work that requires a particular piece of rental equipment is done at the same time thereby assuring the shortest rental period possible. Dowbuilt foremen are bags-on lead carpenters and the right hand of our site superintendents. They are responsible for reading plans and lining-out subcontractors and crew. About 50% of their time is spent on tools and putting high-quality work in place, while communicating expectations with precision and clarity. This position sets a well-rounded lead carpenter up for a successful transition into a superintendent role over time, while working with teams across the Bay Area, that are dedicated to the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a foreman, you'll show an aptitude for leadership, build positive relationships, and demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that the design intent and project goals are met. Job Description Reports to: Superintendent Travel: Field role Company: Citadel Roofing and Solar is a growing company that is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern and Central California. We are currently looking for a Solar Crew Leader for our growing solar team! Description: Manage crew to perform solar pre-wire installation as well as solar installation which will include ensuring all material received from warehouse is correct material and correct quantities to complete installation. Crew Lead will be responsible for that crew follows Citadel Safety and Installation Standards as well as job site roles. Responsibilities: • Provide quality installations that will be able to be commissioned and inspected without issues • Provide 100% of required photos for each installation daily (no exceptions) • Maintain truck stock mid/max levels • Communicate with Citadel Superintendent at a minimum every morning and afternoon o AM confirm material picked up from warehouse and activity plan for the day o PM confirm what activities were completed that day as well as update on any field related issues that came up during the day • Communicate before installation with Citadel Superintendent if installations will not match solar layout exactly for approval to install and supply as-built drawing day of installation if different from solar layout • Provide weekly timecard and safety documents required for entire crew to be turned into Citadel Superintendent on time and accurate • Maintain company vehicle maintenance including washing interior and exterior of vehicle weekly Skills: • Ability to inspect fall gear and other PPE daily/weekly • Follow and enforce Citadel installation and safety practices • Organization skills to maintain clean and organized company vehicle and provide warehouse timely notification of need material to maintain truck stock mid/max levels • Communicate with others inside and outside Citadel organization • Navigate iPad and use required apps to provide deliverables Qualifications: • 3+ years experience in residential roof top solar installation • Knowledge of reading solar layouts and SLDs • Manage production crew • Electrical solar experience (Enphase/SolarEdge) • Knowledge of solar structural requirements • Knowledge of roofing practices/requirements Compensation and Benefits: Citadel Roofing and Solar offers a competitive compensation package.
