Successful performance in this role prepares team members for advancement to the Superintendent level. Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership Manage daily crew activities and scheduling. Plan ahead by forecasting crew and resource needs at least six weeks out. Delegate tasks effectively and foster a productive, respectful work environment. Ensure quality meets or exceeds company standards. Maintain safety on site and model best practices. Promote a positive, solutions-focused jobsite culture. Subcontractor Coordination Confirm scope, schedule, and readiness for subcontractors. Supervise and support subcontractor performance under Superintendent direction. Maintain a working knowledge of plans, specifications, and materials. Foster cooperative relationships with subcontractor leads. Generate punch lists and enforce completion timelines. Track and document change orders and T&M work as needed. Communication & Documentation Submit material orders, field work orders (FWOs), and other forms as needed. Ensure all team member timecards are completed accurately and submitted on time. Participate in production meetings and provide updates to the Superintendent. Jobsite Safety Act as Field Safety Officer. Enforce OSHA standards and jobsite safety protocols. Wear and promote proper PPE use at all times.
