    Job Description On-site Labor Foreman (Industrial Fence & Gates) Wage Rate: $48.33-51.33/hour, + performance-based bonuses. Higher wages are available based on location. Hours range from 40 to 60, depending on owner schedule. Weekends are not mandatory and uncommon. Benefits: Includes, but is not limited to, health, pension/retirement, paid holidays, company vehicle & credit card, etc. Benefits will be provided through the union. Per diem and travel will be provided. Locations: Traveling to OH, PA, MD, WV, IN, NY, NJ & VA. Other states may be available. Duties: Coordinate a crew to install high security fencing & gate systems. Perform pre-dig inspections for underground utilities and be highly aware of all hazards above and below ground in substations. Perform all layout for posts and grades. Install foundations and posts to grade. Complete framing and panels/chain link. Install gates. Install stone along fence lines as needed. Read & interpret plans and shop drawings. Office support will always be available to the foreman for assistance. Most importantly, maintain safe practices amongst all crew members. Typical equipment used: Skid steers, telehandler, excavator, hydrovac trucks & man lifts. This individual will be working in live substations near energized equipment. REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Experience Minimum of 3 years related experience as a foreman for industrial fencing Union Member (or willingness to become union) Minimum of 3 years working in and around live substations Ability to use computers and phones for timesheets and other reports Knowledge of installing slide gates, gate operators and their accessories Concrete forming experience for large foundations Substation entry trained or badged Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites Valid Driver's License required. CDL License is not required but preferred. CDL Training can be provided. OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 preferred.
