Academic Support Specialist

Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Support Specialist to provide individualized academic support to students in a college setting. The successful candidate will work closely with students to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to achieve academic success.
Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic support to students in a college setting

* Develop and implement individualized learning plans to help students improve their academic performance

* Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them

* Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular progress reports to students and parents

* Collaborate with other academic support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalency

* Minimum of 48 semester units at an institution of higher education is required

* Incumbent must maintain 12 semester units during employment and required to submit a sealed transcript along with the application
