Construction Laborer

Overview:


Garney Construction is seeking a dependable and hard-working individual to fill an entry-level Laborer position in Durango, CO. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the crew with daily tasks, learning essential skills, and starting a career in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:

* Maintain and operate pneumatic and electrical tools, such as concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and hand-operated trenchers

* Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies

* Join, wrap, seal, and bed sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations

* Perform daily tasks with the use of various techniques and equipment

* Use essential tools such as tape measurers, hammers, tool belts, and lineman pliers to perform tasks accurately

Qualifications:

* Ability to work on your feet for an entire day

* Willingness to complete OSHA 10 and Fall Protection Certification training

* Willingness to work overtime

* Access to reliable transportation

* Willingness to travel for work
