Rich in both Catholic traditions and Hispanic culture, Our Lady of the Lake University offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees while providing a fun and involved campus experience. Located in San Antonio, Texas on the shores of Lake Elmendorf, OLLU provides a long list of majors including English, Natural Sciences, Mass Communications, Nursing, and Religious Studies and Theology for undergraduate studies. There are also master's degrees in a number of fields, a handful of doctoral degrees, and pre-professional programs like Pre-Law and Pre-Med available. While admissions are open to students of all kinds, OLLU is especially geared toward Catholic students. The division of Mission and Ministry provides religious services to students who want them, and students are encouraged to get involved in the community. Our Lady of the Lake University also hopes to ease the transition into college for first-year students with its LAKE Days program. This special orientation session takes place in April to give freshmen a taste of what college student life is like.
