Job trainers typically hold a bachelor's degree. However, they can also obtain certification from an accreditation body such as the Association for Training Development (ATD) or the International Society for Performance Improvement. Having this certification can boost their job prospects and favorably impact their career in the long run.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job trainers earn a median annual salary of $61,210 or $29.43 per hour. Additionally, job prospects for employee trainers look bright between now and 2028, with a nine percent projected increase in trainer positions.
