Overview
The Specialist II owning the vision, growth, and day-to-day activities of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Training Program. • Support project specific trainers, such as commissioning agents or retrocommissioning engineers in their training presentations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop fee proposals and budgets for the O&M Training Program.
• Administer Pre-Training and Post-Training Assessments to clients as part of the O&M Training Program.
• Analyze Pre-Training assessment results to tailor the O&M Training Program to each client's needs, and analyze Post-Training assessment results to ensure retention and highlight progress.
• Check-in with Client during the project to collect feedback on training quality and to see if any modifications are needed.
• Supports the Project Manager to ensure the O&M Training Program is on schedule, within budget, and all deliverables have been met.

Curriculum Design and Instructional Development
* Design, develop, and maintain curriculum used to train SHIBA volunteer advisors and coordinators to counsel Medicare beneficiaries.
* Review, evaluate, and synthesize existing training content from SHIBA, the SHIP Technical Assistance Center, CMS, and partner organizations to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES:
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, customer-focused training, presentations, and training materials in a variety of formats and delivery methods. Training topics may include but are not limited to customer service, supervisory essentials, effective communication, and DEI topics such as implicit bias, microaggressions, and inclusive workplaces.
Develop and administer the Library's annual training plan.

The Schwartz Early Childhood School (ECS) at the SJCC is seeking a Developmental Specialist to support our inclusive, Reggio-inspired early childhood program serving children from infancy through age six.
This role is ideal for a skilled early childhood professional with deep knowledge of child development and early intervention who is passionate about supporting children with developmental delays, disabilities, or social-emotional/behavioral challenges. The Developmental Specialist partners closely with educators, leadership, and families to strengthen inclusive practices, support early identification, and build capacity through observation, consultation, coaching, and reflection.
This position focuses on consultative and systems-level support rather than direct therapeutic services.
This is a Part-Time position with a salary of $30-$40 per hour dependent on education and experience.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience working with children ages 0-5 and their families in a developmental support, early intervention, or specialist role (school-based experience preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development, social-emotional development, and inclusive practices.
Preferred Education, Certification, and Experience
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certification.
Experience working in a progressive or Reggio-inspired early childhood setting.
Familiarity with local early intervention systems and community resources.
BCBA, BT, or similar credentials (preferred but not required).
