Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to perform various assignments in the maintenance, repair, alteration and remodeling of buildings, offices and other site facilities using skills in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting and concrete/masonry.

Responsibilities
Perform skilled work in the maintenance, repair, alteration and remodeling of buildings, offices and grounds.
Perform rough and finished carpentry.
Tear down and rebuild partitions.
Install new flooring of wood, carpet or tile.
Assemble tables, chairs, desks and shelving.
Repair or replace windows, door and locks.
Assemble, install and/or repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for water, heating and drainage.

What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required.

Qualifications

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring the continuous functionality of all production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery.
Perform emergency repairs on all production equipment and machinery.
Conform to all procedures regarding spare parts usage.
Perform repairs and maintenance according to any and all OSHA and other safety requirements, i.e.: lockout/tagout.
Perform all maintenance and repairs in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
Maintain mechanical availability of all production equipment.

Other Important Responsibilities:
Maintain a daily log of Preventive Maintenance and downtime through Computerized Maintenance Management System, Simplicity CMMS
Maintain a daily work log and EOD/end of day email report to Upper management.
Assist the Parts Inventory Clerk with proper specs and info when sourcing parts for repairs and regular maintenance.
Work with outside contractors during routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant situations.
As required, will install new equipment, facility upgrades, perform repair work as needed and support production.
Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness Programs.
As part of the EMS- Environment Management System, will meet compliance obligations and accountability by contributing but not limited to the company's recycling guidelines, proper waste and other environmental performance practices

Qualifications:
A minimum 7-10 years (or more) of relevant experience.
Electrical, Mechanical, Welding, Electro-Mechanical and equipment training, a plus.

What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you'll ensure that critical mechanical, electrical, and facility systems remain operational and safe to support Helion's fusion development activities. We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to take the lead on complex maintenance tasks, support team members, and improve the reliability and performance of the infrastructure that supports our mission. You will report to the Facilities Operations Manager and work onsite at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, along with a range of facility and utility systems found in a complex production environment
* Diagnose and repair issues across production and facility-dependent equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and overhead cranes
* Maintain and repair access systems, including roll-up doors, pedestrian doors, and automated gate systems
* Coordinate and oversee vendor work to meet safety, security, and quality standards
* Document maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and system performance
Required Skills:
* 5+ years of experience in building, mechanical, or facility maintenance
* Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting, repair techniques, and use of diagnostic tools
* Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and OSHA safety compliance

Job Summary:
As Maintenance Supervisor, direct and control all functions within the Maintenance Department.
