The Forklift Operator I is qualified to operate stand-up forklift (reach), sit-down and/or electric pallet jacks. The person in this position possesses skills to perform the day-to-day activities within the department. The person in this position may be called upon to train others.
Functions of the Position:
* Picks work order demands, stages product for production use and returns unused items back to inventory.
* Performs picking of products accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders/demands. Loads trucks, ships orders systematically using WMS scanning equipment, completes necessary outbound paperwork, and/or puts away finished goods product. Replenishes stock.
* Unloads trucks/containers of raw/spice or finished goods items. Verifies receipt quantities to order documentation, signs and stamps bill of lading, receives inventory into the system using WMS scanning equipment, and verifies/applies LP's as directed.
* Inspects trucks and documents findings. Transfers processed product into FG or coolers storage location. Operates shrink-wrap machine.
* Keeps warehouse area and coolers clean and organized. Sweeps, picks up trash, tapes up any open cases and organizes empty pallets, etc.
* Changes equipment batteries, conducts pre-op inspection on all material handling equipment used and reports any equipment issues or damages. Properly uses and cares for hand-held scanning equipment and direct connect radio.
* Rotates inventory and follows FIFO (first in-first out) or FEFO (first expired-first out) process, depending on job function.
* Reports discrepancies, abnormalities and problems to the warehouse supervisor.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
* Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
* Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
* Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills, and information within assigned team and across functional areas.

Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

Position Summary
The Brand Manager, Recipe Cheese Marketing will shape the future of KraftHeinz ~$500M shelf stable cheese business which includes Velveeta, Cheese Whiz & Kraft Jar Cheese.
