The position is responsible for the overall coordination of testing processes within the campus and in conjunction with other OhioHealth hospitals and OhioHealth Laboratory Services. Summary: OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring for a casual/PRN registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Our hours of operations are from 8am-4:3pm Monday through Friday and will reach out to the therapist as needed to fill open position due to time off, sickness, leave of absence, etc The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They prepare patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. This full-time, remote position will: Assist in the coordination of all admissions to facility in accordance with budgeted census projections. Verify potential residents Insurance and obtain insurance authorization for admission. What it takes to become an Area Intake Coordinator - Financial with Care Initiatives: Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid Insurance. Point Click Care CRM knowledge - preferred. Knowledge of insurance portals and authorization guidelines. Maintain solid relationships with insurance case managers. Knowledge of hospital referral systems and electronic medical records.
