* Maintain the workcell's capacity planning model; drive resolution on uneven capacity utilization that keeps Jabil focused on the customer but efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.
* Meet daily with the Workcell and manufacturing team to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery.
* Maintain the customers' latest contract on file at all times and be familiar with the terms and conditions of the contract regarding customer liability of material planning and production scheduling. This includes the liability window for Jabil material purchase order placement, purchase price for components, and liability for any in-house materials (purchased and manufactured).
* Be the workcell's "expert" on all planning activities by supporting the Production Planner goal of never starting to build product without having a valid PO, adequate material quantities, and accurate BOM and an accurate routing.
* Lead the Workcell on the creation of Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings that allows accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and accurate inventory movement transactions.
* End-of Life (EOL) management should include chairing a meeting 30 days prior to the last planned build date to create tactics to support the EOL strategy. The Master Planner would own the build schedule, corrections and resolution of MPS to customer demand, planned tactics on deadlines for assemblies out of the various work areas on the floor, deadline for last shipment, and support plan for potential RMAs.
* Manage Jabil purge process for internal Workcell purges.
* Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Customer Requirements Review:

QMS Leadership:
Maintain and improve ISO 9001:2015 processes, work instructions, and records for the cloud product line; Support internal audits and readiness for external/customer audits.
NPI Ramp:
Identify CTQs, Create Control Plans, PFMEA; execute MSA/GR&R; verify process capability (Cp/Cpk); FAI for newly built products and launch readiness.
Support lessons learned documentation and reviews for Current and future product launches.
In-line Quality & Yield:
Establish SPC on critical processes; track FPY, DPPM, escapes; deploy mistake-proofing (poka-yoke); drive structured containment when signals drift.
Supplier Quality:
Support the Incoming Inspection Criteria, definition based on Jabil and Customer requirements from NPI standpoint.
Support Supplier Quality with CTQ identification, material storage process & supplier qualifications as needed.
Customer:
Lead 8D/A3 investigations on returns/complaints from NPI standpoint; implement CAPA and close the loop with clear, data-driven communication to customer quality teams.
In Parallel, identify gaps and drive actions for closure while working with cross functional teams and customer as needed.
Digital Quality:
Automate data flow from MES/ERP/; build live dashboards/alerts; use control-chart behavior to recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & Training:
Publish procedures and one-point lessons; train operators/techs on critical to quality features, audit discipline, and error-proofing.

As a Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will be responsible for establishing health and safety policies and procedures which ensure compliance with company, customer, and government regulations within any of the following functions: health and safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental protection.

Recruitment and Retention
* Recruit, interview and hire for the Environmental, Health, and Safety team.
* Communicate criteria to recruiters for the Environmental, Health, and Safety team.

* Provide regular updates to Facilities Manager and Operations Manager on the execution of the strategy.
Cost Management
* Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
* Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value (i.e. cost of Workers Compensation versus cost of wearing Safety glasses).
* Provide feedback to management on cost and cost trends.
Forecast Development and Accuracy
* Provide feedback to Facilities Manager and Operations Manager on forecasts for the department.
Technical Management Responsibilities
* Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
* Assess the adequacy of data gathering methods utilized by the workcells.
* Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
* Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are "best in field."
* Implement the Environmental, Health, And Safety (EHS) activities in support of ISO 14000. Determine how to influence activities (facilities, building support, EHS, and security) under a single focus to streamline execution.
* Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
* Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
* Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.

* Chair the Safety Committee.
* Manage large projects from start to finish utilizing delegating skills to empower others to take responsibility for segments of the project.

How will you get here?
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or equivalent preferred
Experience
* 5 years of EHS experience in a manager level position
* Manufacturing industry experience preferably electronics manufacturing
* New site, startup, and/or construction related EHS experience highly desired

* Expert knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 Standard and system requirements.
* Knowledge and experience of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements, specifically NFPA 70E.

The Sr. Test Engineering Manager is responsible for providing optimum test solutions and strategies through the effective management of people, systems, procedures, and equipment.
Maintaining and surpassing driven innovations and continuous improvement within Test Engineering by harnessing innovative technologies in the areas of systems, equipment, and processes.
Provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders. Supports global Test Engineering initiatives.
What will you do?
Provide accurate quotations for new models from new customers and existing customers to ensure the company's continuous growth.
Manages the Test Engineering Department operating with a high level of efficiency and integrity.
Reviews and develops department structure, seating capacity, and forecast.
Manage operations, metrics, and assets.
Research develops and implements Workcell systems, support, and ISO/QS systems.
Compiles and documents the necessary information to analyze performance and make changes in the testing process.
Develops, motivates, and challenges Test Engineering employees, organizes workloads as needed, and ensures each employee is adequately challenged.
Ensure all test equipment is maintained to the best condition for minimum downtime.
Seek new test technologies for employees' development and customers' value added.
Set up a failure analysis group to track the cost-effective test reject inventory and reporting process-related failure.
Set up a test development group to increase company value and satisfy customers' needs.
Provide the cost reduction through automation and process simplification.
Provides meaningful and prompt feedback on employees' performance, including completing and conducting annual performance appraisals and developing training plans.
Hire, train, and manage test personnel to support the company's production ramp and new business start-ups.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
How will you get here?
Possess an all-round, in-depth knowledge of test engineering in the rack/server L10, L11, and L12 testing in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Linux programming skills and solid knowledge of GPU/CPU systems and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of computer hardware and software is essential.
Ability to manage complex engineering issues and to provide engineering solutions for company operations.
Experience with commercial and custom automated test equipment.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with frequently changing priorities.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Product/Design Engineer will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy by handling design responsibilities for assigned products. In this role, you will develop new product variants, new products, and maintain and improve the product in terms of cost, quality and performance.
This role will report to the Engineering Manager and is an on-site role based in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identifies opportunities for product improvements and cost out through evaluation of manufacturing practices and assembly methods. Utilizes CAD and FEA software to develop product improvements.
* Performs cost analyses to justify changes, and coordinates activities of multiple disciplines to implement the changes.
* Performs root cause analysis on defective products using engineering principles and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Determine root cause using statistical methods (e.g., Design of Experiments (DOE), SPC). Modifies existing products to resolve quality problems, and coordinates activities of multiple disciplines to implement a solution.
* Modifies existing products and creates new products for new applications. Utilizes knowledge of systems and works directly with OEM's to determine product performance requirements. Leads team members of product development projects and justifies monetary resources and personnel to attain project goals.
* Defines product performance standards and product acceptance standards using knowledge of systems and laboratory testing equipment and procedures. Determines disposition of non-conforming material using engineering judgment and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Create product designs by:
* Leading technical design review meetings with customer engineers while being the technical expert on the design and analysis.
* Reviewing and comprehending customer design specifications
* Communicating with customers to enable designs that solve the problem for the customer
* Analyzing performance and dimensional requirements including dimensional variation analysis
* Validate product designs by:
* Setting up and operating hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test stands and equipment
* Conducting product validation tests
* Fabricate development hardware by:
* Operating manufacturing equipment
* Ordering and scheduling necessary equipment
* Monitoring project for nonconformance to cost and delivery goals
* Provide support services to Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance by:
* Analyzing and evaluating product application, manufacturability, and performance regarding price, quality, delivery and safety
* Create/Review Product Designs for Manufacturability by:
* Considering manufacturing capabilities along with performance requirements when tolerancing
* Understanding in-house manufacturing methods, techniques and capabilities
* Improving existing designs with engineering changes
* Ensuring design and process documentation clarity - (i.e. making sure drawings, specs and routings are understood by production personnel)
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
* B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 to 10 years related experience
* Prefer DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), project management, FMEA and quality systems experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
* Excellent math and analytical skills, and familiarity with CAD and analysis software required.
* Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic measuring tools, and hands-on capabilities to work on projects without supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
