Ownership of your suppliers. Among the 42 suppliers I manage on my desk, I like mist about this position is that you are empowered to take control and own the situation with every part/ supplier. You are the point of contact.

For the lack of benefits, the best perk/benefit was the training provided.

They don't care about their employees. If they did, they would not change things to make it difficult to perform to the best of your abilities. People are different and so are their abilities, so why group everyone together?
