Sebastian Pariath is an Head of Operations, Chief Information Officer at John Hancock.

Ted Bruntrager is a Global Head of Operational Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer, John Hancock at Manulife Financial and Chief Risk Officer at John Hancock and is based in Greater Boston Area. He has worked as Vice President - Investment Operations and Risk Management at John Hancock, Director of Operations - Life Brokerage at John Hancock, and AVP and General Manager - Corporate Products at John Hancock. Ted studied at EET GROUP A/S between 1991 and 1995.

Len van Greuning is the Chief Information Officer for John Hancock, the US segment of Toronto-based Manulife.



Mr. van Greuning, who joined John Hancock in 2010, is responsible for information services functions supporting John Hancock’s Life Insurance, Long-Term Care, Annuities and Fixed Products businesses. He is an expert in his field and has been integral in our US technology transformation, establishing our digital engineering teams, migration to modern cloud technology platforms, and ensuring the security and stability of our applications.

Before taking on his current role, Mr. van Greuning served as Chief Technology Officer responsible for Technology Transformation Services and Business Enablement including architecture, cyber-security, big data, CRM, digital engineering and platforms defining the overall delivery structure.

Previously he was the founder and partner in several startups and held senior positions at Genesys Conferencing, Aviva Canada and Sun Life Canada.

Mr. van Greuning holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Pretoria.

Martin Sheerin is Chief Financial Officer for John Hancock, the U.S. division of Toronto-based Manulife.



Before taking on his current position in 2016, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for John Hancock Annuities. Since joining John Hancock in 2007, Mr. Sheerin held several roles including Chief Financial Officer, Long-Term Care and Product Risk Management.



Mr. Sheerin previously held various actuarial and financial reporting roles at Aviva USA and Irish Life Assurance.



Mr. Sheerin graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with Bachelor and Master degrees in Mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Institute of Actuaries and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Andy is responsible for retail, retirement, and institutional asset management across all businesses and channels. He is head of Wealth and Asset Management in the United States and Europe, and president and CEO of John Hancock Investment Management. He brings a wealth of organizational and industry expertise to this role, including more than 25 years of experience in the asset management industry. Since 2012, Andy has led all aspects of John Hancock Investment Management’s business, from investments, sales, marketing, finance, and product development to operations and technology. In 2014, he was appointed president of the John Hancock funds, with general responsibility for overseeing day-to-day management of fund business and operations, serving as CEO of all funds, acting as liaison between management and the funds’ Board of Trustees, and presiding over trustee and shareholder meetings.

In addition, Andy’s a member of the Board of Directors of John Hancock Worldwide Investors, through which John Hancock offers UCITS funds to non-U.S. investors. In his prior position as executive vice president and COO of Investment Management Services, he was responsible for developing and managing the network of subadvisor asset management relationships across the John Hancock and Manulife platforms in the United States and Asia.

Andy began his John Hancock career in 1993 after earning a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University; he also earned an M.S. in Finance from Northeastern University.

Anne Hammer is the Chief Communications Officer at John Hancock. In this role she protects and promotes John Hancock's 160-year reputation as a leading provider of financial services for nearly ten million customers in the U.S. She is responsible for reputation management, messaging, media relations, employee engagement, executive communications, thought leadership and events. She is a member of the U.S. Leadership Team. She also serves as a member of Manulife’s Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council representing the U.S.

Previously, Mrs. Hammer served as Global Head of Public Relations for State Street, responsible for public relations and integrated promotions across the organization. During her tenure, she led the public relations strategy for State Street’s “Fearless Girl” and SHE Gender Diversity Index and ETF campaigns, which promoted the power of women in leadership. Mrs. Hammer is a graduate of Suffolk University.

John R. Hatch is the Chief Operations Officer for John Hancock, the US segment of Toronto-based Manulife. Mr. Hatch oversees all US segment Operations for the Life, Long-Term Care, and Annuity business lines. With more than 20 years at Manulife, he has led transformational programs to create efficiencies and enhance the customer experience, including establishing the shared services model and building out global partnerships.



Prior to joining John Hancock, Mr. Hatch held executive roles at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Price Waterhouse, Liberty Securities Corporation, and Colonial Investors Service Center.

Mr. Hatch holds his Series 6 and 26 FINRA licenses, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, a MS in Information Technology, and a Doctorate of Science in Computer Science.
