Role: Laser Equipment Operator.
In this role, you will:
1. Able to read understand and interpret BOM, drawings, cutting schedule to complete laser operations without supervision.
2. Locate and set-up steel in storage tower using fork trucks, and automated system.
3. Inspection of steel blanks for size/thickness, damage, and burrs ensuring steel meets specifications.
4. Operate machine using automation with complex menu choices to move steel blanks into and out of the laser cutting portion of machine.
5. Set-up and program laser machine by interpreting schedule and following approved procedures. Programming may require use of complex menu and programming choices.
6. Operate laser and monitor quality and quantities per manufacturing procedures.
7. Set up laser to ensure beam is focused correctly and proper cut quality is maintained.
8. Monitor compressed gas levels and change to new bottle as necessary.
9. Ensure proper sequence and running of laser.
10. Inspect parts at completion of process and maintain quality records as necessary.
11. Move finished parts off of machine.
12. Any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.

Maintain Environmental reporting requirements
Keep accurate records on plant emission calculations to maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting submission requirements. Assure plants stay in compliance with required external and internal reporting requirements. Working knowledge of TRI, Tier II, SPCC and SWPPP is requested.

The Sanitation Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the Sanitation department and managing Sanitation Supervisors in a multi-shift environment. The role is responsible for directly leading and managing the Sanitation team and partnering across departments to effectively and safely ensure the cleaning and sanitizing of food production lines and non-food handling areas of the facility.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
· Ensure that the plant is cleaned daily and ready to start production on time.
· Maintain a safe work environment by properly implementing the IIPP (Injury Illness Prevention Programs).
· Ensure that the company food safety guidelines are implemented daily.
· Maintain good communication with subordinates, peers and other members of management.
· Development and Training of supervisors, leads, and sanitation workers and set safety goals for the sanitation team.
· Participate in audits, facility inspections and coordinate pre-operational inspection with QA Management.
· Set clear development plan and performance targets for Sanitation Supervisor(s), discuss progress against plan on a weekly basis, and deliver performance reviews.
· As necessary, resolve personnel problems by investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action while treating employees with respect through the process.
· Help develop effective people management skills of all Sanitation Supervisor(s) and leads.
· Responsible for managing sanitation indirect labor on a weekly basis, including but not limited to scheduling to meet labor KPIs and adjusting as needed to ensure compliance.
· Provide shift level labor targets to Sanitation Supervisor(s) and provide feedback to Sanitation Supervisor(s) on labor performance from previous day.
· Own communication of weekly Sanitation KPIs (labor efficiency and sanitation compliance) to department manager and ensures relevant KPIs are being appropriately communicated to supervisors leads, and sanitation workers.
· Develop and oversee all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
· Responsible for executing the Sanitation Programs through leading core Sanitation functions including master sanitation schedule, chemical control, and inventory.
· Ensures all sanitation employees are utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment and are operating safely.
· Ensure all necessary documentation for Sanitation and incident reporting is completed.
· Partner with site FSQA Manager and the Food Safety and Quality Program Manager on development, implementation and training for new Sanitation procedures and applications.
· Partners with FSQA leadership team, Operations, Maintenance and other key stakeholders to implement changes, new process or new products in a safe manner and implement sanitation procedures.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology Biology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 5 to 7 years of Food Manufacturing Experience, with at least 5 years in Food Sanitation.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
· Knowledge of the GMP, HACCP and Environmental sanitation program is preferred.

Required Experience

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools

Experience with product specification software or databases.
Previous experience in product training or educational presentation development.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
