Victory Wine Group was established in 2015 as an innovative solution for wineries and distillers in Texas. In January 2023, Victory Wine Group became Maverick Beverage Company of Texas and in 2025 we became Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas. As an importer and distributor of fine wines and craft spirits based in Texas, we represent a high-quality, diversified collection of wines and spirits from around the world, many of which are family-owned and operated.
All night shifts are generally Monday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. to completion (approx 4:30 a.m.), with Friday's off. This position pays $20.00 hourly and eligible for OT.
Job Description:
Select product for outbound shipping.
Repeatedly lift 35-60 pound cases and place on a pallet up to 1000 times per shift in the correct sequence for the delivery driver to properly deliver the goods.
Accurately review information on selection labels and match them to the correct product.
Properly record start and stop times on work assignments.
Reposition cases and labels accordingly to maintain accuracy and eliminate breakage.
Properly recording breakage and clean-up of breakage
Housekeeping as directed by supervisor
Other Job Duties:
Complete end of shift responsibilities such as palletizing, returns, replenishment cases or bottles, and cleanup activities as directed

Safety Overview:
Ability to perform job duties as instructed by process and follow rules and regulations pertaining to the warehouse and all equipment safety regulations.
The use of cell phones strictly prohibited in the warehouse, phones can be used during break and lunch periods outside of normal work areas.

What You'll Do:
You will operate a double ride-on electric pallet jack and build pallets for the next delivery day. Each orderselector picks approximately 2,000 cases of beer per night. This is an extremely physical and fast-paced environment. As we said, we are the industrial athletes of the beer business!
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the following work environments:
Temperature controlled environment (72-76 degrees).
Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, and work in high and precarious places.

Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year of previous warehouse experience preferred
Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired
Voice-pick experience is very desirable
Promotes and observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly
Ability to maintain and operate a ride/walk pallet jack, including frequent mount/dismount
Ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull over 100 lbs
Requires fast-paced repetitive lifting of 25-35 lbs
Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout the warehouse

Job Summary
The OrderSelector is responsible for filling customers' grocery orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The OrderSelector is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
Essential Job Functions
Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is shipped
Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms
Tag or mark orders as requested
Repack orders when necessary
Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
Stock product in pick slots
Conduct physical inventories as required
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards
Meet company standards for productivity
Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy
Equipment:
Operate powered lift trucks in performance of order selecting duties when required
Conduct safety inspections on any equipment used
Used of hand-held computers / scanners and voice-enabled computers
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
Knowledge of warehouse procedures
Knowledge of stock rotation procedures
Ability to read and write legibly in English
Ability to count accurately and do simple math
Must be capable of standing, walking and climbing stairs for extended periods of time
Must be capable of climbing, stooping and kneeling
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers
Ability to pay attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers in a courteous and professional manner
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills

Details/Benefits:
Competitive Compensation Rates: $21 hourly and eligible for OT (also eligible to earn up to an additional $2.50/hour based on factors such as speed and accuracy)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (Full Time position)
Night Shift: Start 5pm until finished with all duties for shift and OT if needed
