What you will do

Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
Input, retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
Make minor repairs and programming changes while under the direct authorized supervision.
Complete assigned inspections on time.

What we look for
Required
5-10 years documented experience in sprinkler systems
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.
Willing to travel out of town.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

What we look for
Supporting Silent-Aire's Mission Critical Services, you will work unsupervised while making informed decisions to complete tasks as instructed. You will also complete detailed end of day reports with complete accountability for the time spent on the task and identify and report the difference between any manufacturing and construction deficiency. This will be completed by leveraging your knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical and control systems including the following technical skills-
* Electric Motors (3-phase and 1-phase)

How you will do it
* Check in with Manager after the end of each workday while in the Field.
* During, and/or at the end of each day/job, complete all company provided forms to the fullest extent possible.
* Responsible for time management of jobs scheduled each out of town.
* Check in with client at the beginning and end of each day.
* Obtain client signature on company provided forms where applicable.
* Use Time Clocks in the plant and ADP app when in the Field to account for daily times.
* Hand in paperwork at the end of each trip for processing in sequential order.
* Ensure all receipts or invoices for expenses have job numbers and get sent to the correct person.
* Ensure all excess materials used for each job are listed properly and documented.
* Assist on job sites with other Silent Aire Field Technicians as needed.

* Check in as needed to ensure Manager or field supervisor are aware of your status.
* Secure parts and tools needed throughout the day for various jobs as required.
* Report all warranty repairs to the Manager or field supervisor and provide the necessary info needed to report back to the plant if it is a Silent Aire internal problem.
* Set expectations to other team members.
* Consult Manager or field supervisor in times of uncertainty.
* Give training to Field Technician II and support.
* Report to Plant Managers when not in the field.

Purpose of the role
MHIRJ's network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The Manufacturing Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality management system for Manufacturing, maintaining compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and Customer Requirement. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, OEM specifications, and internal procedures. The Quality Manager is also responsible for managing MHI Group QMS and SMS integration activities initiated by North American Operation integration initiatives. Any other activities assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.
Here are the daily responsibilities of a Manufacturing Quality Manager:
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, including NADCAP, AS9100, and FAA 145 Repair Station regulations.
Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with quality systems and procedures.
Review and approve documentation for quality processes, including inspection reports, certifications, and corrective actions.
Manage and maintain certification and compliance with NADCAP, and AS9100 accreditation requirements.
Provide guidance and training to teams on quality standards, AS9100, and NADCAP requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conformances and deviations.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Perform regular reviews of quality processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Prepare reports for senior management on quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement actions.
Support the preparation for customer and regulatory inspections and audits.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to quality assurance in aerospace.
Here is what is required to succeed:
Minimum of ten (10) years of Manufacturing Experience.
Minimum of five (5) years working within AS9100
In depth knowledge of FAA 145 Repair Station, NADCAP, AS9100
Advanced communication and presentation skills with all levels of Management.
Working knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace, safety and environmental aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-based applications used to collect, track, and present SMS data.
High level of proficiency with data analysis.

What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking an Mechanical Controls System Engineer to lead the process of system integration and commissioning for the OpenBlue Central Utility Plant (CUP) solution for district energy plants across the globe. You will act as the project leader to plan, execute, and complete Central Utility Plant projects with assigned customers. You'll partner with customers to meet the project implementation schedule goals and will need to delegate tasks to fully complete assigned projects including: hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout. You will also mentor and train plant operators and other end users to take full advantage of the OpenBlue CUP software solution and provides technical support during the warranty period. This is a remote opportunity for someone preferably based in the southwest region of the US.

Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO. (Must be a member or willing to join a local Union Local 486 Plumb & Pipefitters).
Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, trouble shooting and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers system components.
Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.

Pay Range: $47.78 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.

How you will do it
* Design and validate embedded hardware and firmware for Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) control systems
* Create schematics, select components, and design PCB assemblies
* Develop manufacturing test procedures and fixtures
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in production and various field environments

* Optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost

What you will need
Required

* 5+ years embedded hardware development experience for high-voltage, high-reliability, safety-critical systems
* Schematic and PCB layout with Altium Designer
* Proficient in PCBA design for microprocessors, DSPs, memory, serial interfaces (USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS485), data converters (A/D, D/A), and distributed power supplies
* Knowledge of PWM control, EMC layout, and thermal design
