Key duties include generating on-call schedules, assisting with customer satisfaction surveys, and following up on connected system requirements. Additionally, you will: Generate and track customer orders. Create and process subcontractor and vendor purchase orders. Coordinate with the warranty representative and process return material authorizations. Manage shipment processing and monitor branch and vehicle inventories. Set up new customer accounts and resolve vendor invoice and shipment discrepancies. Oversee HVAC cash collections to ensure timely and accurate processing. You will also provide general administrative support essential to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining operational efficiency. How you will do it Utilize Microsoft Windows platform tools and company software to track, manage, and support operations metrics effectively. Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with customers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly inventory counts and upload them into company platforms to maintain accurate records. Create new employee trunk locations and manage tool and product inventories efficiently. Participate in business review meetings by preparing and discussing critical account information pertinent to profitability status (i.e., outstanding claims, PSA variance, Accounts Receivable issues) and customer satisfaction issues. Research and follow up on inquiries identified during monthly business reviews. Ensure all customer account information required to support call management and scheduling tasks is kept up-to-date in the NxGen system. Create new customer accounts, reconcile updates, and manage changes in account information, enhancing operational efficiency. Facilitate the administration of warranty claims, ensuring all processes are handled in a timely fashion. Track and update monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory cycle counts, maintaining accuracy and accountability. Create Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), prepare shipments for return, track receipts, and follow up on any delays to ensure a smooth process. Perform other duties and administrative activities as assigned by management to support operational needs. What we look for Required High school diploma or equivalent required, along with a minimum of five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or scheduling. Proven ability to work independently with solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients. Ability to handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks, and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence. Proficient computer skills within applications such as Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet business applications, along with strong data management capabilities. Able to prioritize work activities based on financial impact and desired business goals. Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks and goals effectively. Preferred Associate's degree preferred. Experience and/or knowledge of basic project accounting or costing principles is desired, providing an understanding of financial aspects related to service operations. How you will do it: • Supports EqNA sales during project estimate by specifying, if given, service can be performed as an S/R or if a Service Mechanical project will need to be secured (determine based on the duration, size and complexity of the project, as well as the need for project management). • Provides custom quote for service items outside of Program, Commission, Adjust, and Train (PCAT) policy. • When the EqNA contract is secured and warranty expectations are confirmed by the Systems Application Engineer (SAE) verify that the branch has the necessary service technicians trained to work on the identified equipment and coordinate with Truck Based Service Manager (TBSM) to send technicians to be training as appropriate and/or necessary with the guidance and support of the BSM. • Will attend RTO meetings when requested on complex projects or projects sold with Planned Service Agreement (PSA) and identify any service/warranty scope concerns. • If the PSA is part of the contract, validate the details of the PSA to the SAE/Agent Project Owner to include project submittals. Lays out electrical controls installation to provide lowest total installed cost. * Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed. * May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects. * Determines and validates final termination points to equipment interfaced with the installed system (i.e. chillers, boilers, roof top units, etc.). * Checks out wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments as needed (i.e. volt meters, handheld testers, etc.). * Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues. * Completes paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to JCI Engineering on changes and keeps as-built drawings current. * Resolve job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to management as required. * Communicates with the customer as necessary upon arrival and before leaving the work site. * Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies. * Performs other related duties as assigned. What we look for Required * Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques. * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings. * Possesses working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls. * Experienced in scope determination of installation materials. Able to work independently. Preferred * Four years' experience directly with controls installations. * Familiar with Johnson Controls low voltage installations. * Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.) proficiency. * Foreman level experience - managing team of installers. * Commercial construction project experience. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $27.50-$34.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
