What you will do:
Our continued growth has produced a need for a hardworking Life Safety Systems Sales Representative, FIRE Electronic to join our team. In this exciting and rewarding role the responsibilities will include expertly representing the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of Fire Safety/Fire Alarm Systems to Contractor customers and end users within an assigned territory and accounts.
How you will do it:
* As a Sales Representative you will establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and using Johnson Controls marketing strategies.
* Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings, qualify and prioritize opportunities, and maintain appropriate territory records.
* Conduct seminars, demonstrations, etc. in order to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers.
* Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform vital follow-up for successful closing of the sale.
* Interface efficiently with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery.
* Deliver sales against an assigned quota.
* Maintain established accounts as an Account Representative through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow up on sales.
* Report progress and supply metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations and other events with the objective of growing sales and improving the company's image.

What you will do:
You will be the strategic link between our brand and our channel partners-driving engagement, growth, and alignment across the Building Automation Systems and Controls ecosystem. + Work in industrial, municipal water, and wastewater facilities that may be under construction or already existing and may be required to travel internationally as well as domestically, with some extended stays. Work may exceed eight hours per day.
+ Be responsible for the commissioning of both single water treatment devices as well as entire industrial systems.
+ Maintain standard internal documents and reports, scripting details & updating tasks including managing and separating work done, and work to be done to maintain typical project schedules.
+ Use Microsoft Office suite daily and internal programs such as on-line travel assistants and electronic expense reporting programs (SAP, Concur ideal).

Job Summary
Step into a fast-paced, customer-focused environment as our Service Supervisor in the compressed air commercial segment. You'll oversee the local service function across the full equipment life cycle while partnering with the sales team to drive business growth. Responsibilities
* Effectively attract, coach, counsel, train, develop, and retain all service employees. Drive continuous improvement through company performance management process and technical product training programs available. * Collaborate with the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, ensure technicians' training and skill level is appropriately matched to service customers, and ensure resources are effectively leveraged across the service area to maximize Service Technician utilization. * Maximize cash flow by ensuring invoices are generated immediately upon completion of work and warranty claims are filed accurately and timely, managing expense budgets, and increasing utilization of the service team. Ensure that standard service work processes are created and followed. Improve transactional processes impacting the customer experience and increase overall customer satisfaction.
* Effectively manage service team inventory to maintain accuracy, reduce year-end write-offs, and maintain SOX compliance through detailed reporting and regular cycle counts.

Requirements
* High school diploma or GED required with relevant work experience
* 3+ years' experience in an industrial sales business setting.

What we look for:
Technical - We need someone who understands and can communicate both the theoretical and practical function, applications and operations of Chiller equipment and components. Five plus years of experience with York chillers would be ideal, along with experience in performing operational checks, monitoring operations, and troubleshooting & startup of York chillers.
Experienced - Five plus years of experience operating and troubleshooting Chiller equipment would be ideal. Experience with training, coaching or teaching is very desirable.
Articulate - Your writing, communication and facilitation skills must be strong in order to clearly articulate and transfer the content.
Educated - Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Education or something that would support the mission of this position.
Collaborative - Collaborates with IDs, learning professionals, product managers, program managers, stakeholders, and more people in the business than we can count.
Professional - Has personal ethics, does quality work, and has a positive attitude.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $78,000 - $107,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) What you will do
Our Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program is a 6-month technical sales development program for Recent College Graduates that focuses on creating market share by strategic selling Johnson Controls' HVAC products and services to commercial customers. In this program you will have a chance to apply your technical engineering knowledge and business acumen to work with customers to better understand their product and project needs by being the subject matter expert. As part of the program, you will participate in a 6-month training and development program combining classroom, field orientation, and on the job training. You will learn our mechanical equipment and service offerings, customer relationship techniques and leadership skills in preparation for supporting customers in your territory alongside the sales team. You will be prepared to consult with architects, engineers, and building owners on product selections; partner with and learn from internal experts and deliver on business goals. You will be a critical part of a local sales team and a national network of sales professionals.
How you will do it

What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking an entry level Materials Engineer who are hands-on problem solvers, self-motivated, who consistently take the initiative to get things done with good analytical skills and an eye for detail to work in the Global Materials and Process Lab located in Milwaukee, WI. Candidates should be familiar with conducting rudimentary failure analyses on components and products and provide reports and documentation suitable for litigation if required. They should also be able to conduct testing and analysis on polymers and composites (desirable).
You will interact with design, ISC Production, suppliers, and other support functions to provide materials and process support. Duties include conducting failure analysis, performing materials analysis and testing, assisting with quality audits and issues as they relate to materials and products, helping to trouble shoot and develop new processes and making recommendations regarding specifications of materials. This position is onsite based in Glendale, WI. Candidates should be commuting distance to the facility, or able to relocate.
How you will do it
Use a data science approach with materials science principles to develop and execute design of experiments
Use practical experience with special process suppliers to readily understand their challenges, articulate robust guidance for solutions, and effectively relay supplier experience to Engineering for improved manufacturability
