Job Description
The Site Installation Supervisor II is a self-managing, high-energy individual who is responsible for mechanical and general installation activities on-site for BEUMER system projects as assigned. This is an important role, providing key support for the project management team and will have on-going, direct contact with the Customer. The Site Installation Supervisor II coordinates the activities of contractors and workers engaged in the installation or modification of supplied equipment, while ensuring that the highest quality of work is provided in the safest manner possible in order to meet project goals.
At times the Site Installation Supervisor II role could be the Lead on a site or part of a team with another lead. This role will require work with conveyors, integrated systems, and third party or customer equipment on site.
This role will require extensive travel, up to 90% of the time.
Leadership and Teamwork
Promote safe and reliable construction and maintenance activities consistent with BEUMER objectives and policies. Must be in full compliance with existing and relevant emerging codes and regulations.
Improve and follow the assigned project scope and contract work authorization details. Interface with others on the project to learn how job commitments are delivered on time and within budget.
Document contractor crew activities, prepare and present periodic oral and written reports, and verify the accuracy of checks.
Assure QA's on assigned jobs are completed and accurate including NCC's.
Prepare and maintain job box with required tools and hardware for shipment to and from the job site.
Support the Team Leader or Department Manager with management tasks.
Participate in kick off meetings and or job close out meetings.
Day-to-day management of the installation while keeping the Project Manager and team updated.
Develop and maintain an effective professional relationship with Site and Project personnel, serving as BEUMER's on-site representative for Customer and other subcontractors.
Follow claims and change management processes and report all changes/deviations to change management.
Ensure BEUMER Group processes and professionalism are utilized within the project.
Assign tasks to workers and specify method of coordinating workflow to meet schedules.
Promote and maintain a clean and inventoried site at all times while assuring all contractors and BEUMER personnel comply.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Technical and Quality
Supervise contractors, supervisors, and departments to review drawings, RFQ's, and quality control checklists.
Support start-up and commissioning of equipment
Review of mechanical drawing packages prior to starting a project
Ensure the highest level of mechanical installation quality
Layout of equipment using supplied drawings
Monitor entire system's mechanical installation and respond as needed to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Resolve mechanical installation issues/failures and determine the timeliest resolution path to restore optimal performance.
Coordinate with Engineering areas as needed (mechanical, software) and 3rd party vendors to address system issues.
Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Manage site logistics including handling of material to subcontractors.
Source materials, make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
Secure job site and company equipment in a safe and professional manner
Perform other related duties as assigned
Rate of Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Qualifications

5+ years of electro/mechanical experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to interpret installation drawings
Maintain train the trainer certifications for fork lift, scissor lift, and boom lift
Intermediate welding skills
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in an environment with competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Heavy lifting/material handling skills

The Site Leader will provide world class startup, commissioning, test and inspection service leadership for large, high-profile customers for the Vertiv Switchgear and Busbar business. The site leader is the primary Vertiv Service representative for large jobs, from factory testing, through start-up, site acceptance testing, and project completion. The site leader is required to establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent Switchgear and Busbar Service at all customer and contractor meetings for projects which the PL is assigned to by the Area Supervisor
Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets
Coordinate start-up, commissioning, inspection and site testing activities for assigned projects
Review scope of work requirements on the sales order
Review customer or third-party procedures and train personnel on those procedures
Define and manage man-power needs for the job
Gather all documentation for job (submittals, as-built drawings, in-house test procedures)
Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project, escalating potential conflicts to avoid impact to the customer
Represent Service in front of the customer, contractor, and consultants
Assist contractors as required during installation of assigned projects
Coordinate Pre-Site meetings with contractor
Provide support to contractor for technical questions during installation
Support start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects
Ensure sufficient man-power on site each day to perform start-up and site testing work
Assist during start-up and site testing as necessary, depending upon man-power availability and site location
Provide first level of tech support assistance to speed up problem resolution
Monitor jobs for timely completion, work with sales rep on providing quotes for additional services not paid for, or excess labor requirements resulting from delays beyond Service control
Provide daily status reports to Service management and customer

Construction management experience, critical infrastructure expertise with Switchgear, Busbar and Power Distribution a plus.
Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing processes, data center infrastructure and commissioning processes is helpful.
Solid foundation of electrical power theory and application including thorough understanding of applicable safety procedures.
Provide on-site customer consultation, must be able to present themselves as an expert in the field
Expert analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written) required.
Able to manage customer expectations during stressful situations
A high degree of communication, organizational and management skills are required
Valid driver's license is required
Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints

The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing on-site activities related to signage installation, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This hands-on role includes coordinating with subcontractors, verifying site readiness, resolving field issues, and maintaining quality standards across multiple job sites. Travel is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review the overall project with the Project Manager, including plans and drawings, to fully understand the details of each sign type.
Identify and communicate installation-related concerns to the Project Manager and/or Installation Manager.
Conduct field surveys as needed to gather accurate site data and verify field conditions.
Assess and become familiar with jobsite logistics. Coordinate with installation subcontractors to confirm required equipment and manpower.
Collaborate with subcontractors and/or the General Contractor to identify suitable locations for receiving and storing products prior to installation.
Verify that all sign locations and mounting surfaces are ready and prepared for installation.
Attend on-site subcontractor meetings as required or deemed beneficial.
Confirm that interface conditions align with approved plans. When discrepancies arise, develop and document alternative solutions.
Understand procedures for sign placement and ensure that final locations are approved and documented by the client whenever possible.
Ensure underground utilities are properly located prior to excavation and maintain documentation of the findings.
Coordinate with surveyors, when needed, to accurately field-locate foundations for ground-mounted signs.
Confirm that all deliveries are inspected and signed for by either the installation subcontractor or a designated CREO employee.
Track all fabricated sign components, hardware, templates, UL labels, and permits. Prepare for installation according to specifications and have contingencies in place.

Coordinate scheduling and site access with the general contractor and other trades. Understand CREO's contracted scope and notify the Project Manager of any potential scope changes. Obtain proper authorization before proceeding and document costs for change order recovery.
Proactively identify potential issues and resolve conflicts as they arise.
Ensure proper handling, transportation, and installation of signs to protect high-quality finishes.
Oversee all on-site work performed by subcontractors. Understand their scope, ensure quality workmanship, document conflicts, and protect CREO from unwarranted charges.
Maintain professional communication with designers, general contractors, trades, consultants, and internal team members.
Submit daily reports as outlined by the Installation Manager.
Represent CREO during punch list walks with clients and/or the design team when required. Accurately record and address all feedback.
Coordinate permit submittals and inspections when applicable.
Serve as Lead Installer when not assigned as Site Superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current WA State Driver's License and clean driving record
Ability to pass drug screen at random. This is dictated to client and site requirements.
8 years' experience as a Site Supervisor and/or Installer for custom fabrication.
GED or High School Diploma is required.
Travel is required. Significant travel to out-of-town jobsites, overtime, and weekend or night work as dictated by site conditions and project schedule.

Compensation:
$42 - $46 yearly
Responsibilities:
Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality
Minimize injuries and delays on building projects by requiring complete attention to health and safety standards, and report any issues to the project manager when they occur
Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably with some additional managerial experience
Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
Completed training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor's degree is preferred
