Prepare and submit supplemental schedules and reports in One Stream
Support the site engineering team with capital projects portfolio from PAR (project approval request) thru creation of fixed assets in the general ledger. Review and analyze the CIP (construction in progress) account on a monthly basis and close out capital projects on a timely manner.
Partner with the site Inventory and Materials Management team with the ongoing review and analysis of Excess and Obsolete inventory (E&O); make recommendations to optimize site's inventory goals.
Manage the site's quarterly / annual internal control and SOX compliance protocols for the site.
Maintain an effective internal control environment to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with laws and regulations. Support all internal and external audit requirements for the site.
Partner with the FP&A team with the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts.
Assist the regional Cost Accounting team with the development of standard costing for the site.
Participate in the site's Kaizen initiative and Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive productivity and efficiency.
Identify potential risks and opportunities and communicate to the management team to make timely decisions to optimize risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

What you will do
The HVAC Service Sales Representative is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC Service business! You will be responsible for initiating, establishing, and building profitable service relationships between new customers and Johnson Controls (JCI). What you will do

Job Summary:
As a member of the Sustaining Engineering Team, the Mechanical Engineer works as a product and process expert, providing engineering assistance to internal Xylem departments and external customers. The Mechanical Engineer works on projects associated with hydraulic design, mechanical design, product development, and product compliance. They serve as a subject matter expert on the performance of the vertical turbine product line as well as the engineering calculations and test procedures used to design these turbines. The Mechanical Engineer utilizes PTC Creo and the PTC family of products to create 3D models and production drawings. Candidates for this role will need to be active in improvement projects and implementing Best Practices and Lean Initiatives under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Support internal Xylem departments, both inside and outside the Lubbock location, with vertical turbine product and process expertise.
Support customers with engineering questions related to product design, application, testing, and field troubleshooting.
Support the Design Engineering team with engineered-to-order projects and designs, from concept to CAD model and drawing creation.
Oversee engineering projects related to product design, product improvement, and process improvement.
Support the Engineering Manager with product certification and compliance activities.
Create new ISO documents, forms, procedures, and work instructions for the Engineering Department. Understand and revise existing ISO files as required.
Maintain awareness of new processes and procedures in the marketplace (i.e. additive manufacturing practices) that can improve the vertical turbine product line from a quality, delivery, and cost perspective.
Attend MRB (management review board) meetings and make recommendations and dispositions for non-conforming products.
Provide engineering training to new engineering hires as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering, or a different engineering degree from an accredited university at the Engineering Manager's discretion, plus
An aptitude for good analytical skills and the ability to organize and implement engineering tasks.
The ability to interface well with others and to direct, and take direction from others, as required.
PLUSES:
2-3 years engineering experience in the pumping or hydraulic machinery field.
3-5 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with PTC Creo, PTC Windchill.
A Texas Professional Engineer License.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications.

What you will do

HVAC Controls Lead Systems Specialist
What will you do:
Under general direction, acts as the on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as required implemented and fully complete assigned projects including: hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout.
Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including: costs, project billings, and collections. Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. Actively pursues selling change orders.
Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project. Ensures proper execution of warranty. Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as necessary.
Ensures work performed is in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Adheres and ensures Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards.
How will you do it:
Completes typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as the need arises. Provides detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers, Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors.
Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. Communicates both technical and business-related issues with the clients.
Manages the selection, ordering, budget and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.
Secures pricing and availability from outside vendors and suppliers, mechanical and electrical subcontractors including scope, terms and conditions. May request several bids in pricing process. Oversees' subcontractor payment and billing processes.
Provides jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations. Ensures installation is in accordance with Johnson Controls literature and project requirements.
Manages and completes the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required. Validates complete system functionality and resolves issues with subcontractors and others to ensure accurate operation. Provides accurate project as built and commissioning documentation.
Manages costs, billings and collections. Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow.
Provides coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to System Technicians, Electrical Installers and System Designers. Provides technical assistance to subcontractors. Ensures that delegated tasks are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.
Effectively communicates the status of projects to management as required and provides monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.
Sends warranty letter to JCI customer upon substantial completion of project and ensures proper execution of warranty.
Develops project plans and coordinates the required resources to ensure timely and cost-effective installation and completion of assigned projects.
Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full or with assistance. Ensures owner/operator has been trained. Provides accurate documentation and manuals for system operation.
Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required.
Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for:
Required
Minimum of a technical Associates Degree with three years of field experience or five years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.
Must have relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently.
Preferred
Strong personal computer skills.
Must have knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
Knowledge of project accounting, costing principals and contracting preferred.

What you will do:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will evaluate our current operations and determine more efficient production processes. What you will do
As the facility's subject matter expert you will be responsible for developing and monitoring the execution of Continuous Improvement Projects, monitoring the execution of the JCMS Action plan, and managing savings projects to meet the annual plan.

Facilitate Continuous Improvement Kaizen events within the Plant.
Coordinate and implement savings projects to achieve the annual goal focused on conversion costs, with projects around automating processes, reducting labor costs and optimizing material flow and space.
Manage the integrity of CI-TRAC and Wave systems.
Communicate and publish monthly results of Continuous Improvement projects (cost-out) to senior management.
Support the organization as a mentor (coach) in the execution of CI Projects as required.
Support the organization as a trainer in Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Value Chain Mapping, Yamazumi, Standard Work, Kaizen, TPM, Quick Change Over, Kanban, Heijunka, and Problem Solving with A3/PDCA/8D's as required.
Implement Continuous Improvement Projects using the A3 tool and Hoshin Kanri.
Participate in the development of Mfg 4.0 applications in current processes and new products, focusing on digitization, automation, and integration.
Support Engineering in the Launch of new products applying Lean Manufacturing tools to achieve the goals of Service, Quality, and Safety.
Collaborate with New Product Engineering in planning, managing, implementing, and controlling the launch of new products following the Johnson Controls standard process with a focus on design for manufacturing (DFM).
Apply the comprehensive Quality, Safety, and Environment management system rigorously.
Model the essential behaviors of Organizational Health and be an agent of change within the company.
