What you will do
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
How you will do it
Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product line.
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
Input, retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
Make minor repairs and programming changes while under the direct authorized supervision.
Complete assigned inspections on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
5-10 years documented experience in sprinkler systems
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.
Willing to travel out of town.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

What you will do
The HVAC Service Sales Rep is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC Service business!
The chosen candidate will be responsible for initiating, establishing and building profitable service relationships between new customers and JCI. Focus on selling renewable maintenance agreements as the key building block for establishing these relationships.
The salesperson will work within an assigned geographic territory, working as part of a local branch office and teaming with sales and operations professionals within the branch. Uses sales tools to plan and document sales progress as well as increase business opportunity in current accounts. Expected to obtain and close business on a monthly basis.
How you will do it
Follows a disciplined and professional process to identify, target and qualify prospective new customers; takes advantage of market conditions and networks effectively to uncover new leads and contacts.
Contacts prospective customers and schedules appointments. Builds a referral network to identify new customers.
Conducts sales calls designed to identify key sources of problems and/or dissatisfaction confronting Facility Directors in operating and maintaining heating/cooling, ventilation and control system equipment.
Develops a sense of urgency to resolve needs and positions Johnson Controls as the supplier of choice. Proposes solutions to prospective customers needs through creative and innovative application of local branch service capabilities with a focus on selling renewable maintenance agreements with an emphasis on digital service offerings, sustainability, and decarbonization. Understands the customer's business and speaks their language.
Reviews and finalizes proposals with prospects and secures their commitment to the Johnson Controls solution.
Conducts customer kick-off meetings, resolves customer issues, creates pull-through opportunities, maintains service agreements, extends service agreements and supports the collections process.
Keeps management informed of progress and account status using the Johnson Controls Salesforce.com tool and other means. Knows when to call for assistance from management to keep the sales process moving.
Develops and implements territory marketing plans consistent with the Johnson Controls Building Solutions business strategy.

What you will do

What you will do
Without direct supervision, and using established standards & procedures, the fire alarm designer will focus heavily on fire alarm field knowledge and experience to create precise and comprehensive fire alarm system designs and submittal packages that align seamlessly with project specifications. This role is crucial for providing detailed technical documents and drawings that effectively communicate design intent and operational requirements to customers, consultants, fire install/sales/management teams, and subcontractors.

Facilitate thorough reviews of initial designs of medium complexity, ensuring that value-engineered and code-compliant solutions are incorporated where required.

Leverage your fire alarm field experience to oversee the preparation of project submissions for medium-complexity systems, ensuring all aspects of system operation, drawings, and calculations are accurately represented.
Conduct detailed calculations and analyses to ensure that all system designs meet or exceed applicable codes and standard requirements.
Actively participate in pre/post-project design meetings and attend customer/site coordination meetings when applicable, providing insights and support grounded in fire alarm field experience.
Develop and refine bills of materials based on designs to facilitate effective construction processes and ensure resource availability.
Thoroughly examine completed submissions for equipment application, ensuring compatibility and compliance with project specifications and scope.
Provide strategic support to Project Managers upon receipt of orders, assisting in maintaining and improving project margins through effective solutions.
Review equipment application, conduct research on outside purchases, and ensure that all equipment selected is compatible.
Respond promptly to inquiries from customers, contractors, and relevant authorities, focusing on aspects of fire alarm systems as they arise.
Collaborate with the Project Manager during system commissioning to verify that system performance aligns with the specified designs and operational requirements.
Support field technical staff and subcontractors by providing comprehensive technical support and addressing design inquiries effectively.
Offer pre-sales estimate support to the sales and project management teams, emphasizing the importance of accurate details in proposals.
Mentor and guide team members in the completion of project deliverables, focusing on the accuracy and efficiency of drawings and documentation. • Perform related duties on assigned projects when necessary, stepping in as needed if a team member is unavailable to fulfill those responsibilities.
Direct, support, and meticulously review the work products produced by team members to ensure high-quality outputs.
Continuously monitor actual hours worked to ensure all time is accurately coded to respective projects and remains within the originally estimated hours sold.
What we look for
Required
A minimum of three years' experience in fire alarm field service, installation or design with a strong emphasis on fire alarm field experience and proficiency in software applications for creating technical documentation.
Demonstrated knowledge of Government / Provincial Fire Alarm Code Requirements, ensuring compliance in all designs and submissions.

What you will do
Under general supervision, performs installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings and personal analysis. Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities:
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
* Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
* Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.

Requirements:
* 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
* Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
* Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule. This is shared with every service tech, and it requires being available 24/7 for the 1-week duration where you will go to customer sites. On-call weeks can be as often as every 4 weeks or greater than 4 weeks, but that will be determined by the hiring manager.
* This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move weight limits in line with the safety policy.

Minimum of Three (3) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry. This includes Rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, plumbing.

What you will do
Under general supervision, performs installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings and personal analysis. Works with "Prime" electrical contractors as required. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation.

Role Summary:
The Shift Material Handler is responsible for stocking and pulling parts from storage in a pump assembly environment. The ideal candidate knows hot to operate a stand up forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds in and around the facility. Please note your shift interest in your application.

* Knowledge and proficiency using a computer
