The Project Scheduler supports Project Management by providing detailed project schedules which support the entire project cycle from development to operations. The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing project templates in conjunction with the project team, including critical path analysis, alternate schedules, and implementing variables into schedule. The scheduler may have to maintain several schedules at any given time for various projects in various stages. We are seeking a Security Systems Application Engineer to join our federal team. Our Engineers are engaged in the full lifecycle of a project from pre-sales to closeout. These duties may include cost estimating & sales support, performing pre-design site survey, designing system shop drawing submittals, generating product literature submittals, programming electronic security systems, executing system startup & commissioning, integrating systems, training the customer, and generating project closeout documents such as as-built drawings and manuals. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety Required Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency and experience working with commercial and/or industrial Electronic Security Systems (access controls, intrusion detection systems, CCTV/camera systems, etc), preferably with programming, configurations, and integrations. 5+ years experience preferred Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience. Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances for projects being supported (background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit checks). Active Department of Defense Secret (or higher) clearance preferred Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency and experience working with pre-sales engineering support (cost estimating, sales support, performing pre-design site surveys, designing control system, shop drawing submittals, generating product literature submittals, design packages and submittals, etc) Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of Security Alarm building automation systems and other building subsystems. Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished work for accuracy and conformance. Perform dimensional inspections and document findings as needed. Clean, maintain, and conduct preventative maintenance on machines and tooling. Complete required documentation and follow safety and quality protocols. Maintain eligibility to access highly regulated sites such as nuclear facilities. Travel up to 70%, including overnight and international assignments, is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three (3) years of machining experience preferred; experience with CNC and portable field machining strongly preferred. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, gas and steam turbine operation and design, and material selection and properties. Prior exposure to manufacturing environments, design engineering, or gas turbine operation is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and electronic mail. Experience with coding tools such as Python, MatLab, and C++ is preferred. Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
