What you will do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Construction Managers and Project Managers with coordination/ documentation, ordering of equipment for Install base projects including day-to-day general office duties as assigned for fire alarm, suppression and sprinkler.
How you will do it:
Operations Administrative Support uploading and Maintaining Projects and Contracts via Job Design/ BBI
Monitor status of small projects (fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler)
Communicate with customers and sale reps as to when material and/or labor is required.
Ensure that required engineering is performed to meet customer expectations.
Coordinate with TIS supervisor and/or construction manager customer's labor requirements.
Order equipment, ensure that customer receives material when needed.
Report to department managers project status.
Process change orders, releasing equipment, filing, Certificate of Insurance, Warranty Letters
Billing of projects; compiling back-ups such as Certified Payroll, work tickets etc.
Handling customer/ contract disputes as needed.
Coordinate delivery of equipment to the job site
Coordinate delivery of close-out documents
Creation of purchase orders for subcontractors
Procurement and verification of project schedules
Attend work in progress meetings.
Tracking of project RFI's, change orders and other pertinent documentation.
Coordination/ Follow Ups with Sales Team regarding project bookings; releasing of jobs from COE/ Credit holds etc.
Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Act as the facilitator and point-person for information sharing between OTC, District, and select customers as directed by ACSM
Support Dispute Resolution in resolving disputes when requested by the AR Collectors or the Dispute team.
Contact customers when identified as necessary as part of DMS or for very simple reasons.

+ Provide technical assistance and support to company engineers and equipment end users in the quick and efficient startup of newly installed wastewater equipment, training of site personnel in the operation and maintenance and repair of the equipment.
+ Work in industrial, municipal water, and wastewater facilities that may be under construction or already existing and may be required to travel internationally as well as domestically, with some extended stays. Work may exceed eight hours per day.
+ Be responsible for the commissioning of both single water treatment devices as well as entire industrial systems.

The Director of Construction Site Services is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of construction and commissioning activities for NGS projects across North and South America. Role Overview
Mitsubishi Power Americas, headquartered in Lake Mary Florida, is a major power generation equipment and storage solutions provider for the energy industry. Our NGS Global Sourcing Team is responsible to source complex engineered equipment from across the Globe to support project execution in the Americas region. This position is responsible for the coordination and execution of the most difficult and unique purchasing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Processes challenging and unique purchasing transactions in accordance with state and federal statutes, policies established by the Mitsubishi Power policies and procedures.
Understand, establish and issue Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) for SCRs, Catalysts, Silencers, Skids, Stacks, Control valves, Expansion joints, I&Cs and Engineering services tied to Environmental solution products, assemblies, Balance of Plant (BOP), operations and field service procurements.
Execute Purchase orders (PO) via ERP system preferably SAP of SCRs, Catalysts, Silencers, Skids, Stacks, Control valves, Expansion joints, I&Cs and Engineering services tied to Environmental solution products, assemblies, Balance of Plant (BOP), operations and field service procurements. Other ERP experiences will be acceptable.
Problem solving of Environmental solution products, assemblies, Balance of Plant (BOP), Gas Turbines Auxiliary systems, operations and field service procurement issues as they arise.
Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
Manage contracts to verify vendor compliance to contract requirements.
Collaborate with required engineers, project managers, supply chain project managers, expeditors and external partners (suppliers, engineering 3rd parties) to successfully execute project deliverables and procure as needed.
In addition, maintain informational exchanges and communications with all required groups and organizations contributing to the fulfillment of material demands.
The ability to effectively handle purchase orders with scope and/or contractual requirements of advanced complexity and advanced commercial and/or financial risk.
Must have the ability to effectively handle multiple quotes and orders simultaneously and prioritize work based on schedule demands.
Be a central point of coordination for the activities within procurement process.
Ability to demonstrate the capability to perform work assignments on a wide variety of tasks with limited supervision.
Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.

Must have Domestic and International Buying/Purchasing exp and may have to travel Domestically/Internationally up to 15% of the time.
Must have handled minimum of $10 million - $20 million a year in contracts.

Lead cross business unit cost down initiatives.
Schedule, plan, forecast necessary material to support commercially all manufacturing and project demands.
Process standardization, training, negotiation guidance, and supplier selection and development.

Support transportation strategy for the commodity assigned.
Tariff risk mitigation knowledge and understanding of INCO terms.
Develop and lead the implementation of global supply strategy including negotiation of contracts.
Create value through relationship management, supplier excellence and development projects to reduce cost and lead time and work with other Mitsubishi group companies to find cost savings opportunities. This includes evaluating strategies such as sole sourcing, e- sourcing events, auctions, cross commodity and cross business unit bundling, and tactics for increased competition.

MBA/ ISM/ APCIS Members/ CSCM or CPIM, preferred. Candidates with experience in power generation, oil and gas, coal or any technical procurement preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, engineering drawings, engineering specifications for material, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Required Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, gas and steam turbine operation and design, and material selection and properties. Prior exposure to manufacturing environments, design engineering, or gas turbine operation is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and electronic mail. Experience with coding tools such as Python, MatLab, and C++ is preferred.
