What you will do
The Operations Claims Specialist is part of our Building Solutions business at Johnson Controls. Under general direction, works in concert with the Claims Consultants to ensure consistent delivery of services and assure customer expectations are being met as well as internal financial commitments. Responsible for Claim Status Reporting trend analysis along with recommendations on analysis of construction documents (i.e. certified payroll analysis, continuous improvement of process documentation, schedule collection and verification). Role Overview

The Master Planner will possess knowledge and experience in a planning environment with expertise in balancing material inventories with the needs of highly variable demands. Key Responsibilities
Assist parts management with demand review, supply review, and integrated reconciliation functions in the S&OP process.
Provide oversight of MRP controller assignments, rough cut capacity planning, and inventory control for OEM Service parts.
Support reporting and monitoring of demand accuracy, supply commitments, and stock disposition.
Facilitate make/buy determinations at material creation in collaboration with PLM, factories, engineering, and requestors.
Provide technical input to item master entry and maintenance to support parts objectives.
Design and lead processes to ensure accurate BOM strategies for engineer-to-order, new product development, subcontract, and modification scopes.
Contribute to the Engineering Change Request/Notification process and assess impacts of ECNs on inventory and production.
Create monthly inventory forecasts for KPI reporting.
Develop strategies for material consolidation, influencing conversion timing, and minimizing duplication of active materials.
Provide quarterly recommendations to leadership on slow-moving inventory reserves and part disposition.
Document business process flows and narratives to maximize ERP system capabilities.
Provide recommendations for manufacturing synergies and impacts on inventory KPIs.

Knowledge Skills & Education
Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field; or at least 5 years of experience in material planning, production control, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
* Environmental Sales Channel Partner (SCP) Management - Review the Environmental market coverage and partners as needed to increase Environmental sales revenue.
* Manage Environmental Sales Opportunities through the sales cycle and assist Sales Channel Partners in closing project opportunities.
* Utilize Dodge analytics, GovSpend, and dashboard metrics for ENV SCP review meetings.
* Make joint sales calls with Environmental SCP's to position Seepex products & services and manage current Environmental market OEM's and work with Business Development Manager to identify new ones.
* Educate SCP and Environmental Engineers on Seepex Products / Specifications.
* Maintain a list of key biosolids and pump personnel within Engineering firms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Overview
Provide leadership and management related to training and development of PGS Turbine Controls Engineers and Combustion Tuning Engineers. This role will be responsible for curriculum development; expansion of program capabilities and application of the training program used for integration of new team members as well as continued development of existing team members.
Key Responsibilities
Review, maintain and develop the internal training program utilized by the Controls and Tuning Service Execution group.
Coordinate with Controls and Tuning Management to identify individual team member development and progression plans.
Coordinate with Controls and Tuning Management for scheduled support of:
Indoctrination training for new Turbine Controls Engineer and new Combustion Tuning Engineer employees.
Initial system and skill-based training/assessment of Turbine Controls Engineer and new Combustion Tuning Engineer employees.
Advanced level system and skill-based training/assessment of Turbine Controls Engineer and Combustion Tuning Engineer employees.
Continual training and development of all Controls and Tuning Service Execution team members.
Coordinate training with Controls and Tuning Service Execution team members to maintain knowledge and proficiency levels related to Gas/Steam turbine systems, field processes/procedures and established Training Matrix Database by scheduling one-on-one and group training sessions conducted virtually, in office or on site as required.
Coordinate with Controls and Tuning Service Execution team members to ensure relevance and effectiveness of training material with field processes and procedures.
Maintain training records and progression of all Controls and Tuning Service Execution team members.
Identify and implement areas for training development within existing systems, technologies and hardware utilized by Mitsubishi Power.
Identify and implement areas for training development for emergent systems, technologies and hardware utilized by Mitsubishi Power.
Support Controls and Tuning familiarity training for internal PGS teams, such as GT Service Engineering, Tomoni Hub, and LTSA.

THE ROLE: The Technical Sales Engineer/Specialist is a supporting role of our Engineering and Sales Support Teams. These teams are responsible for providing pre- and post-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products, applications, and solutions. This role will be reporting to the Engineered Solution Supervisor of our Water Infrastructure - Transport division. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with sales, customer support, and project management teams to support customers. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic knowledge of required systems and products including creating and interpreting engineering drawings, production specifications, and testing protocols using either CAD (computer-aided drafting), CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) or CAE (computer-aided engineering) systems. Reviewing and interpreting tender documents with attention to detail, technical specifications, product datasheets, and proposal-related documents.
SOFT SKILLS: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships across departments and with external partners. Confident and professional presence, with the ability to present information effectively in meetings and customer interactions. Solid project management skills, including planning, coordination, and follow-through to ensure successful outcomes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Pre-Sales:
Provide pre-sales technical support during feasibility, design, and tender stages to outside sales, distributors, and consulting engineers, while being assisted by Engineering in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
Assist Engineering Team, who is responsible for providing technical and product expertise, as well as researching and gathering data to understand how to meet the customers consultancy needs or solve the customer problem.
Work closely with internal colleagues, subject matter experts, and technical and commercial resources to review tender documents.
Provide essential support to the sales team in quotation creation process for engineered projects.
Contribute as a technical consultant in efforts to prepare and review project bid package.
Provide product and application expertise, design support, technical drawing support, etc. Advise sales team on technical requests and implications as they relate to the project.
Aid Application Engineers and Sales, who are responsible for providing a detailed review of all technical documentation for a project including specifications, plans, drawings, etc. Ensures the proposal is technically viable, and feasible.
Post-sales:
Work closely with the Engineering Team to prepare and review technical submittals on time and follow up closely with customer for approval.
Review specifications and ensure submitted drawings are compliant.
Address promptly the questions from customers on the drawings submitted.
Work in collaboration with third party vendors to ensure the customer requirements are fully met.
Work closely with the party who requested post sale support to gain deeper understanding of request and scope the need.
Support the project managers in providing technical solutions to the customers and Engineers.
Provide support to the application engineers in conducting application training for customer service and operations.
Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required
0-2+ years of relevant experience. Engineer-in-training (EIT) and recent graduates welcome!
Ability to use consistent business processes to achieve desired results, including ability to react appropriately and timely to changing business needs.
Willingness and ability to always provide superior customer service.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with customers, coworkers, and management
Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical engineering or automation degree
Knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulics; pneumatics; water flow; diesel, gas, and electric motors.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
Occasional light lifting (10-25 lbs.), job site environment.
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility.
Regularly required to listen, talk to, and see employees and customers on a daily basis.
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to job site conditions, e.g., gas fields, petrochemical refineries, mills, mines, construction sites, industrial/power plants, wastewater treatment plants, etc.; occasional exposure to shop noise and fumes.
Standard office environment free of disagreeable elements.
Travel as required to fulfill the duties listed above or as required by the Company.
