Oversees the Company's appraisals, trades, and purchases of used trucks: marketing in conformity with annual business plan.
Promotes a positive sales culture to achieve goals: assists in hiring, training, and retention of truck sales personnel. S/he will establish sales goals and hold the sales team accountable for performance. Meets with management regularly to review performance, pending sales, prospecting, marketing strategy, profit margins, and related issues.
Assists sales employees in person with inspecting and purchasing inventory, identifying opportunities, and meeting with Customers to foster excellent relations. S/he will keep the sales team up to date on current issues and strategies by conducting regular sales meetings, implementing proper advertising campaigns, sales promotions, and ensuring positive Customer service strategies.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Maintains Service Shop capacity control. Communicates capacity status throughout the day with Service Writer/ Production Control.
Receives work order from Service Writer and assigns the work to Service Technicians based upon their skill level and the time-of-completion directed by the Service Writer / Production Control
Personally, performs quality control checks of workmanship on each service project and provides technician training
Coordinates communication between Service Writer and Service Technician regarding recommended services, changes in repairs, costs, and time-of-completion.
Controls actual time spent by Service Technician on each service job performed on a flat rate
Controls special tools and equipment purchase, usage and replacement
Supervises janitorial maintenance of Service facility
Assists Service Writer, Service Manager, Production Control and Warranty Administrator in the performance of their duties
Maintains a working understanding of all warranty policies and procedures of vendors and Kenworth
Maintains a level of training and experience with specialized materials, equipment, and safety techniques necessary for superior servicing of the customer's equipment. To include but not limited to Service net, QSOL, Cat, Service Ranger, etc. Attends training sessions as required from time to time by Service Manager.
Generates and maintains all work orders and repair orders. Assists customer in identifying needed services.
Personally, coordinates all customer contact with the Service Department, including repair estimates, service appointments, customer authorization on service orders, status-of-repair inquiries, payment terms, and complaints
Calculates all labor charges on flat rate repair orders. Reviews all labor charges on hourly rate repair orders. Demonstrates the ability to close all repair orders.
Insures timely, competent and courteous relations with service customers. Analyzes the quality control report.
Promotes the sales of labor, parts and accessories during customer contact
Monitors daily all open repair orders and closes them as quickly as possible. Troubleshoots with parts department any delays in receiving parts for repair orders and resolves quickly. Monitors Inter-company tickets to ensure equal priority.
Issues workmen's compensation "First Report of Injury" forms to injured employees. Ensures forms are correctly completed and returned immediately. Directs injured employee to necessary medical treatment. Promptly forwards reports to Service Manager for review, and to Insurance Company for processing of claim.
Assists Service Manager, Warranty Administrator, Credit Department, and Production Control in the performance of their duties
Works with Credit Manager in verifying open charge account status prior to accepting P.O., unit release and updates the repair order system estimates
Maintains friendly working relationship with customers and company employees, providing assistance/information/instruction as necessary to expedite repairs and preserve good relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of five years of experience in the truck service field
A CDL license or the ability to obtain a CDL and good driving record
The ability to work well under pressure and have good organizational skills
The ability to assist the Service Manager in training mechanics
Customer Service skills to greet customers and coordinate service orders
The ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and recommend repairs to customers

Our Commercial Licensed Drivers are a familiar sight around the community. From filling ATMs to servicing local banks and businesses, our CDL drivers are working to keep commerce moving. It's more than getting cash and valuables from point A to point B; it's a fast-paced environment that requires vigilance about your surroundings and trust in your fellow team members to ensure commerce in the community keeps moving.
The CDL Driver Role:
As a CDL Driver, you're responsible for safely driving and controlling Brink's vehicles to and from various customer sites and guarding the Cash Transport Guard at pick-up & delivery locations. In this high-profile driver role, you will enforce the rules that protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Guard and maintain the safety, security, and control of the armored vehicle and liability at all times
Guard and maintain the safety and security of your team at all times
Maintain radio communication with the Cash Transport Guard and other vehicle crew during pick-up and delivery of liability
Maintain radio communication with the branch and/or dispatch personnel
Load and unload the armored vehicle
Complete appropriate driving and delivery documentation
Report all faults experienced during the day's activity
Ensure overall cleanliness of the vehicle's interior
Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
Guard liability and assets
The Qualifications You Must Have:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Minimum of Class B license
Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements
A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
Chauffeur's license OR ability to obtain one (Indiana, Louisiana, and Michigan residents only)
Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.
Ability to pass pre-employment verification, background check and drug screening as permitted by applicable law.
The Additional Qualifications We Prefer:
Air brake endorsement
Experience in at least one of the following: commercial or fleet driving, security, military, or other professional driving experience

Minimum Requirements:
Current CDL & medical card
1 Year of OTR verifiable Tractor Trailer experience
Good MVR & Accident record
DOT regulations & CSA program compliant
Ability to obtain TSA clearance or TWIC card.
Self-Certified CDL with State DMV
To qualify with Crane Freight and Cartage, you must meet the following criteria:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
Must have a valid social security number.
Must have legal right to work in the United States
Must have 2 or less moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
License have not been suspended or revoked in the last 3 years.
No conviction for DUI or DWI in the last 7 years
We evaluate PSP results in the decision-making process.
