Adam P. Symson has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of The E. W. Scripps Company since August 8, 2017. Mr. Symson served as Chief Operating Officer of The E. W. He has been a Director of The E. W. Scripps Company since May 2, 2017. Mr. Symson has a Bachelor's Degree in communications from the University of California in Los Angeles.

Andrew Clurman joined Active Interest Media as Group Publisher and Chief Operating Officer in October of 2003 when the company was formed by Skip Zimbalist. In 2010, he became President and Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the management of all of AIM's media properties. Prior to joining AIM, Clurman served as Senior Vice President of Time4Media, a division of Time Warner/AOL, and as President/Publisher of Mountain Sport Media, the world's leading winter-sports media company with titles including SKI, Skiing, Freeze, Skiing Trade News Magazines, Warren Miller Films & Entertainment, and Mountain Sports Press. He also held the role of President at TransWorld Publications, which included TransWorld Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Motocross, Surf, BMX, and Ride Magazines. Under his leadership, these two divisions grew to comprise 15 consumer and trade magazines, an award-winning film and television production unit, and category-leading Internet, book, video/DVD publishing, and event marketing businesses. During Clurman's tenure, Mountain Sports and TransWorld flourished, launching five new magazines and acquiring four others-doubling revenue, with profits growing tenfold.

Brian Murray is President and Chief Executive Officer of HarperCollins Publishers. Since being appointed CEO in 2008, HarperCollins has grown its revenues 50% and expanded its global footprint from operating only in English language territories to publishing in 16 languages and across 24 countries. Growth has come from organic investment in authors, imprints and new capabilities as well as acquisitions, including that of publishers Thomas Nelson and Harlequin. Under Murray’s leadership, HarperCollins has transitioned from a traditional print publishing company to a dynamic print and digital publisher with more than $350M in digital revenues derived from new and innovative business models. In 2004, he returned to the United States as Group President. Murray is past chair of the Association of American Publishers and currently serves on the board. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the International Publishers Association, where he was actively involved in activities that protect authors’ copyrights and freedom of expression.
