Position responsibilities: Fills store orders by picking orders according to section number, packing items into cartons and stacking them in a manner that minimizes shipping damage, entering items into scan gun, and completing necessary paperwork. Documents the shipment of hazardous materials by labeling cartons correctly and completing necessary paperwork. Prepares orders for shipment by preparing trucks for shipments; palletizing and wrapping orders; loading pallets and pieces into trucks; placing packing list in last skid; and completing necessary paperwork. Maintains current department accuracy and efficiency standards and follows department standard operating procedures. Maintains a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following current Distribution safety rules, and maintaining a clean work area by breaking down cardboard, picking up loose trash or boards, and keeping carts clean. Completing any additional tasks or duties designated by the Distribution Center Supervisor. Position requirements: Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work in a safely in all job tasks. Ability to follow instructions and procedures. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to attend to details. Ability to get along with others in the workplace. Ability to complete routine paperwork. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk on a concrete floor through a warehouse for the majority of the workday. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift up to 50 pounds. The individual is occasionally required to talk or hear; and lift up to 70 pounds. Special vision requirements are distance vision, peripheral vision, and color vision. Key Responsibilities · Prepare accurate and timely quotes for motor-operated valves and related automation products, primarily Limitorque. · Provide technical support for customer-facing sales teammates by assisting with product selection, sizing, compatibility, and application questions. · Execute orders from quote through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in configuration, pricing, documentation, and lead times. · Collaborate with the ACE MOV teammates to coordinate quotations across the country · Coordinate with vendors, assembly locations, and internal teams to ensure proper product configuration and on-time delivery. · Utilize Ferguson systems and tools (Trilogy, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheets, etc.) to track quotes, orders, and project details. · Continuously build technical knowledge of MOVs, actuators, gearboxes, controls, and related automation products. Qualifications · 2+ years of experience with Limitorque MOVs or other automated valve products preferred. · High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple quotes and priorities simultaneously. · Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, and thermodynamics · Self-motivated individual with the willingness to learn complex valve and automation applications. · Clear written and verbal communication skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). · Experience with Trilogy or similar ERP/quoting systems preferred. · Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, multi-district environment.
